How much taurine is in the cat food?

The ingredients list shows that there is an element of "clay" in it--why? why is there "clay" in this food? cats would not eat clay in nature.

Montmorillonite Clay is approved by AAFCO for use as an anticaking processing aid to adsorb excess moisture and to help keep the food from clumping. The Montmorillonite Clay used in Nature's Variety diets is tested for dioxins and it is guaranteed dioxin-free.

All of Instincts bags are resealable. Plastic, glass or metal storage containers can also help protect dog food from the elements and from insects, rodents and other vermin. Store the bag or container off of the floor in a cool and dry location.

If you want to spend 48 hours cleaning liquid cat poo and puke off of every surface of your house this is the food for you. Made BOTH of my cats sick at the same time and they are indoor cats without access to toxins so I’m quite sure it was from this food being rancid. I was skeptical of them mixing kibble with raw dehydrated food and I was right!

Until this last year, I have always fed my girls top of the line, grain-free foods from a local specialty pet shop. I decided to try this out about a year ago, and I have noticed that not only does my last remaining girl love this dry food, but I feel like there are less digestive issues. So, I'm just going to let her enjoy it until her last days.... she's about 19 now. So, I want her to feel good, and also enjoy the little things in life :)

Size-freeze dried pieces all through

I was a bit skeptical given the reviews of no freeze dried pieces in the kibble but, it may have been a bad batch. I’ll update once it’s feeding time tomorrow

Cleared up my cat’s allergies!

Within a week of feeding this food to both of our cats, a major difference can be seen in their coats, and our cat with allergies’ symptoms have improved!!!

A favorite!

This is the only dry food my 16 year old kitty will eat consistently. She just loves it! Carly is in such great health & I truly believe the quality of this food
