This is not a bad tie out, but it is only appropriate for very small dogs and should not be used unsupervised. I bought a couple of these for my five month old puppies, and both of them chewed through the cable very quickly. The cable itself is quite thin and lightweight, so it is not suitable for medium or larger dogs or for dogs that chew. It may work for brief, supervised use with a very small dog, but it was not durable enough for my needs.

Good for what it is such as for a dog that is extremely well behaved and you are with them the whole time. It is very VERY thin and could be a health hazard if animal left alone. It is STRONG for its size which is a plus. I put my Anatolian on it and stay with her. I am going to purchase a lead with a larger circumference. Gave it a 2 due to health hazard.

Perfect length and weight for small pet

Exactly what I wanted. This cable is ideal for my 11 lb. dog. It’s the right weight for her to handle and she doesn’t seem bothered by it. I use it to let her roam

Exactly what I wanted. This cable is ideal for my 11 lb. dog. It’s the right weight for her to handle and she doesn’t seem bothered by it. I use it to let her roam in the yard when I’m not able to take her out for walks. Only problem seems to be that my 5 outdoor cats are fascinated by this orange thing wiggling around in grass so they play with it and my dog is unable to move !

Not sure about this

This tie out is super-thin. I am skeptical that it will hold my 35 lb dog when he gets running. We'll see but I'm going to order a heavier one for when this one

Rusted within 2 weeks

I attached this line outside, and the clips have rust spots after less than 2 weeks. They are stiff and hard to open now.

Not just for fur babies

I wanted something sturdy to raise and lower a bird feeder. It was perfect and will hold up in the strong winds of the Jersey Shore.

Strength and durability

It was a 30ft. 125 lb. Tie out cable for my 80 # pit bull. She had already snapped two cables and broke the clasp on another cable. Happy to have one that will stand

Nice at first

I liked this better than the thicker tie out at first for my 25 pound dog, but it got linked a lot and I didn’t trust it not to break.
