Your furry friend must have a current heartworm test result on file with your veterinarian in order to be prescribed heartworm medication. Please visit your veterinarian to have this test performed annually to protect your four-legged friend. This combo purchase has what it takes to protect your pet from pesky pests! It includes Interceptor Plus Chews for Dogs and Credelio Chewable Tablets for Dogs. Each item in this bundle will require its own prescription approval.

Interceptor Plus is a monthly, broad-spectrum parasiticide prescribed by your vet to help prevent heartworm disease. Plus, it treats and controls adult roundworm, adult hookworm, adult whipworm and adult tapeworm. It comes in a tasty chew, making dosing easy for you and your pet.

Credelio is a chewable tablet prescribed to provide monthly protection against ticks and fleas and may also be used for the treatment of flea infestations. Credelio is suitable for dogs and puppies 8 weeks of age and older. This medication starts working in just four hours and provides 100% monthly efficacy against fleas and more than 97% monthly efficacy against ticks. Plus, since this medication comes in a chewable tablet form, you can easily disguise it in your dog’s favorite food.

Seems to work well. Just a note for people who take their dogs hiking/running in the woods or on trails. I think the detailed information page that came with the box said that the medication doesn’t keep bugs from getting on. It kills them when they bite. It is a medicine that goes into the dog’s system, and it comes out when the pests try to feed. I don’t think it is meant to work the same way that some topicals do. It has been years since I read the brochure, so maybe check it out, if you see a pest on your dog. It may take some time to kill the bugs.

We have been using the combination of Credelio and Interceptor Plus since our dog was a puppy and we have been very happy with them. Now I am unhappy to find out that Elanco will no longer issue the $75 rebate (for 12 doses) unless you purchase it from the vet. :(

My dog hates the flavor

Both products are effective, but the challenge is getting my dog to take them. It takes some prompting (peanut butter helps) to get him to eat the Credelio, but he absolutely HATES the Interceptor Plus. It doesn't matter what we dip it in or cover it with, he won't eat it. Last time I ground it into a fine powder and mixed it into his food with extra enticing treats mixed in and he might have eaten half of it. And he really isn't a picky dog, so I was surprised how difficult it was to get it into him. Maybe it's just him, but I'm having to switch to a different product to avoid the monthly battle.

We adminstered Credelio to my 8 month old puppy as prescribed by our veterinarian for flea and tick prevention. The Credelio medication causes my dog to have head tremors (no prior history before giving the medication). I am posting this as information for others to be aware of, particularly if your breed of dog (mine is a Valley Bulldog) may have a tendency toward neurological issues.

I have always used Interceptor which works very well, even on whipworms which Hartgard plus does not. And my dogs eat every disgusting thing in the woods- and they dig a lot! Credelio also works perfectly. I used to use Nexgard which is quite a bit more expensive, but switched to Credelio, and it works the same. I save $181 a year for 2 med dogs using this combo instead of Nexgard plus. One dog preferred the taste of Nexgard- but I prefer to keep more of my hard earned cash!

This product is great for our pug. Hes been out multiple times and during the summer he'd come back in. He's came in with a tick that was on him but was dead.

We've never had an issue with this product. I wouldn't listen to the negative reviews. I believe it really would depend on how long the medication has been in the animals system as well as if they take it regularly. Great product.

I found this product to be the best for my Aussie and now use it for my Border Collie. No problems so far. Used Bravecto in the past and my pup wasn't herself for a few days and she gave me such a hard time eating it. Switched to Credello by recommendation and it is great. We live in a heavy wooded area and are always outside. Credello works great. Ticks don't last long.
