Loved this for a few weeks, until it fell off the desk it was attached to. I had made sure it was attached correctly and frequently checked to ensure it was not

Loved this for a few weeks, until it fell off the desk it was attached to. I had made sure it was attached correctly and frequently checked to ensure it was not loose. It fell when one of my cats got into it with no warning. The weight limit in the specs is 45 pounds, my cat is 17, so not an overload issue. The rubber on the underside of the top plate partially came off which I assume contributed to if not caused it to fall.
