We are a family that despises dealing with clay litter. We got into the pine pellet litter, which by itself is a great versatile product by itself. Our struggle has come with finding the perfect litter system. We have tried every single pellet litter box out there, and they were ALL frustrating... until today! This litterbox is fantastic! The size is huge which works well for our multi-cat household. There is also a tall, removable guard that is perfect for containing litter and urine from high pee streams. I also love that this system has weight to it, since my cats have flipped over all the others. This litterbox holds a lot of pine pellet waste as well. My biggest pet peeve with all the other pellet litterboxes is how poorly the pine dust falls through the grates. You scrape endlessly until you feel like your arm is going to fall off. Not with this one! The pine dust is sifted away with EASE! I am so very pleased with this product. Any future litterbox purchases will be this one, and I am recommending it to all my cat parents.

I really like this stainless steel litter box. With 15 cats, litter boxes are a big deal. With very small cats up to tall, 20 pound cats, of every age, litter box access and high sides are critical. Also critical is ease of cleaning. I love stainless steel, I was concerned it might be too noisy, but have not found this to be the case. I was also concerned the sides might not be high enough, but they are. With a normal large litter box my tall cats can send urine right over the side. Not many of my cats have loved using the non clumping pelleted bedding for which this litter box is uniquely designed, but some used it. The sifting tray comes out though and you can used regular clumping litter, making it adaptable for just about any cat’s needs. Did I mention I love stainless steel? Plastic litter boxes get scratched and absorb odors. Diahrea is hard to get off the side. This is not the case with stainless steel. I expect this will outlast the plastic litter boxes’ lives several times over, making it a better investment Package arrived well package with no extra packing materials to have to recycle other than the plastic bags. Assembly was simple and potty pads to put in the bottom half if using the two tier system were included. Not show in online page, this comes with stick on pads for the bottom which keep the box from sliding around and protect floors and muffle sound a little - a thoughtful addition. Cats showed immediate interest upon opening and product had no bad smells. Some of my cats are notable for peeing on the outside of some litter boxes, but none have done that with this box!

I did have to add a higher barrier due to my male cat aiming high! 😂 I would have liked the partial enclosure to be a little higher or half domed. But overall I am very happy with this product. Would recommend this pan for anyone that uses pellets as well.
