Keep my dog from squealing like a pig when the lancet gets anywhere near him. Going into the vet this week for a check and will take it all with me and tell them to show me how it's done.. When I take him in they charge me $100 for the visit to just weigh him and do a glucose test - for $100 I got the kit and an extra 50 test strips.

Not accurate, but Chewy is the best

I bought this monitor to use to test my diabetic kitty at home. It seemed easy to set up and use, but I wasn’t sure if the results I was getting were accurate based

I bought this monitor to use to test my diabetic kitty at home. It seemed easy to set up and use, but I wasn’t sure if the results I was getting were accurate based on her history. I took her and the monitor in to my veterinarian so that we could test a blood sample with this monitor and the one they use. Turns out I was right to be concerned - the results were off by more than 100mg/dL. Their monitor result was 234mg/dL and this one read 377mg/dL! Luckily, Chewy has great customer service and sent me a return label. I’m going to go with the Alpha Trak 3 that my vet’s office uses.

Accurate

This is the second brand of glucose meter I’ve purchased for my cat and this one is definitely more accurate. The only thing is the lancet tool (in both brands)

This thing gives error codes more than it’ll ever work. I won’t be poking my cat a dozen times to hopefully get one good read.

Not enjoying it.

I can’t get it to work. Took it to the vet and it worked for them . Got home and it would not do it for me . So I’ll try again but it is not for me

KIT IS GARBAGE

This is the worst thing I ever bought. The lancet device is not long enough to pierce a hole in the ear or foot pad. Called the manufacture and never return my phone

This is the worst thing I ever bought. The lancet device is not long enough to pierce a hole in the ear or foot pad. Called the manufacture and never return my phone call . They do not give instructions on where to take blood successfully. Expensive piece of junk. No stars for this.
