Returned after Two Days

I purchased the Roomba 105 Combo from Chewy and returned it after two days of use. First, to be clear, Chewy’s customer service and return process were excellent

I purchased the Roomba 105 Combo from Chewy and returned it after two days of use. First, to be clear, Chewy’s customer service and return process were excellent. The return was easy to initiate, and their generous policy made the experience painless. No complaints there. Unfortunately, the Roomba itself was a major disappointment. The unit arrived new but without any printed instructions inside the box (possibly missing a quick-start guide). While this wasn’t Chewy’s fault and I was able to find the manual online, the experience went downhill from there. The Roomba got stuck every single time we tried to use it. Sometimes it would get hung up on rugs, other times it would sit in an empty corner and spin endlessly with no visible obstacles around. During mapping, it occasionally “invented” walls in the middle of rooms, which made the layout inaccurate and confusing. The cleaning performance was also underwhelming. It regularly failed to pick up small, light debris directly in its path that should have been easy to capture. On one cleaning run, it got stuck on the edge of a rug with no obstacles and soaked the spot it got stuck. Even more frustrating, it often struggled to find its way back to the dock, spinning directly in front of it and eventually getting lost. We ran more than 15 cleaning cycles across different rooms, tried various “keep out” zone configurations in the app, and adjusted settings multiple times. Every single run failed partway through. Overall, this just wasn’t a reliable or effective product for us. While I really appreciate Chewy’s fantastic customer service, I wouldn’t recommend the Roomba 105 Combo based on our experience.

Not worth it

Requires 2ft on either side for charging. Had to recharge repeatedly. Had to reprogram repeatedly and did not vacuum well. Returning, waiting in box from Chewy.
