Dogs go absolutely nuts for this. Bought this duck breast jerky on a whim and wow, my dog is obsessed. The second I opened the bag, my dog was glued to my side doing every trick they know and a few they do not. I have tried a lot of jerky treats over the years, and this one instantly shot to the top of the list. First off, no weird or funky smell at all. Huge plus. It smells clean and meaty, not that artificial greasy odor some treats have. The pieces are a good size, easy to break apart for training, and not overly hard. What I love most is that it feels like a healthy treat I can actually feel good about giving. Simple ingredients, real duck breast, and it does not upset my dogs stomachs, even my picky sensitive one. Shiny coats, happy bellies, and zero hesitation at treat time. If your dog is even remotely food motivated, trust me, they will go crazy for this. I will definitely be reordering and keeping this stocked in the treat jar.

It keeps the dog chewing for awhile and I feel it's great for their teeth. The jerky looks like the homemade jerky I make for my family. I'll be buying these in the future.

As soon as I opened the bag, my two dogs were very interested. The aroma was enticing. I know duck protein is hypoallergenic for most dogs, and most dogs love it. This did not disappoint. The jerky breast slices are much like a thick crispy bacon in look and feel, but I think were a little too hard for my small dogs to have a slice. I cut the slice into small pieces which was much better. These would be great as a training reward too, or a meal topper. I know that their hearts, coats and joints will benefit, and their tummies will love it! I recommend this product.

In fact, after opening the bag and sitting it on the floor between them, I couldn't keep them from trying to steal one by pushing their face into the bag and grabbing one with their teeth! So do my dogs LOVE this product? Absolutely! Why then am I not thrilled with it? Because on the back in the corner of the bag, a fact which is not found anywhere on their website or elsewhere that I ever saw, are the words "Made in China." If you take two minutes to research dog jerky treats from China, the news is not good, especially when it comes to sweet potato jerky, chicken jerky, and duck jerky treats. There are three sources in China where these products have been tested as being safe, but Jack PetPals do not reveal their China source for these treats. And I had no way of finding it out. Nor do I want to waste my time researching a pet-safe treat for my dogs. I want the information on the product front and center. And if there are any doubts? For me, it's not worth the risk. Maybe you don't mind taking that risk. This is the only reason why I'm giving 3 stars instead of 1--perhaps it's safely-sourced and/or perhaps other customers would be willing to take the risk. So for me, with my under 15-pound dogs, it is not worth the risk. Is it a safe China-sourced product? I don't know and couldn't affirm this, so, after the half jerky strip each got to try, the rest are going in the trash. I looked all over the Jack PetPals website, and even though I clicked on the duck jerky, their webpage described a different jerky treat. Clicking on the Contact Us link at the top of their web page did nothing. I even used two browsers. So, with having no one to verify if this is a safely-source product from China, it's sadly a no from me. My dogs are really sad about that, but I am not willing to put my dogs' health at such potentially life-threatening risk due to lack of good information about the source of this duck jerky. I feel really bad about being this forthcoming about a product, but i cannot give this a wink and a nod and say oh yes my dogs loved them and leave it at that.

I have tried duck breast products from other brands before, and some had a strange machine-oil smell, but this one smells exactly the way it should and looks noticeably fresher and cleaner. The texture is another big plus. It is soft and chewy, so I never have to worry about it being too hard for pups or smaller dogs. It breaks apart easily but still gives them something satisfying to chew on. If you want a duck treat that smells right, looks great, and keeps your dog coming back for more, this is an excellent choice.

I got these treats for training rewards. I love using jerky type treats because I can hold it in one hand and rip small pieces off easily. Unfortunately this treat
I got these treats for training rewards. I love using jerky type treats because I can hold it in one hand and rip small pieces off easily. Unfortunately this treat is quite difficult to rip and offen has stringy bits that refuse to tear. I still gave 3 stars because my dog likes them and they don't seem to irritate his stomach.
Lean mean treat!
Grain free duck breast is a great treat. Henree looks forward to one after he finishes his breakfast. They are lean, a great reward and they don't smell like jerky
