Dual filtration system combines mechanical and biological filters plus UV filtration for maximum strength filtering.
Foam pads work to keep water free of sludge and debris and bio-balls grow good bacteria that take out harmful pollutants.
Nitrate-producing beneficial bacteria grow on bio-balls and reduce ammonia and nitrites to maintain pond health.
Quartz glass-enclosed UV filtration eliminates algae and algal spores to promote maximum water clarity.
Includes backwash feature to keep it clean with less hassle and works with ponds from 500 to 1,000 gallons depending on fish size.

Keep your pond clean and healthy with the Jebao Pressured Pond Bio Filter with UV Sterilizer. It features a dual filtration system along with a UV filter for maximum water clarity in ponds with plants, koi and other fish. It works in three ways―a mechanical filter with foam pads takes out debris and sludge, then bio-balls promote good bacteria that turn harmful ammonia and nitrites into healthy nitrates, and a UV filter works to keep water algae-free. It cleans up to 1,000 gallons of water with goldfish and up to 500 gallons with larger fish like koi. Plus, it has a convenient backwash feature and cleaning indicator so you can keep it clean easily.
do i need separate water pump to go with jaebao pond bio filter ? or does it have its own pump? thx.
Answer by • May 14, 2018
A separate pump would be recommended to use with this filter since ponds are quite large. The Jebao Submersible 660W Pond Pump, 7925 GPH may work well for your needs.
Can someone tell me how to change out the ultraviolet light? Thanks.

Does this pond filter have adjustable water flow... (to slow the speed of the water coming out?)
Answer by • Nov 20, 2020
This pond filter comes with two filter sponges that allow you to change the speed of the water flow. The yellow and blue filter sponges differ in size and density. This creates zones in which the water can flow at different speeds. For a high flow speed you can use the blue filter sponges and for low speeds use the yellow filter sponge.
Is this submersible? Does it have its own powerhead pump? How many watts is the UV bulb?

This Jebao CF-10 pressure filter come with an intergrated 7W UVC light. The unit itself cannot be immersed in water. The lower 2/3 part that resembles a cylinder can be placed into a similarly shaped hole in the ground but the topmost part must remain above the grassline, out of water and accessible for routine cleaning. For the CF-10, a 400 GPH pump might also help.
I've had this filter in operation for a couple of years now. The positives: The pond is super clear all the time now. My fish have lived ever since I put this filter in. The UV light has never gone out, but is getting less affective, needs to be replaced. The filters work great and collect a lot of algae and particles. The negatives: The seal is difficult to put back in place after the first time it's taken apart to clean the filters. It has small cracks around the hose connections, but isn't bad enough to warrent replacing it, yet. About to build a new pond and would buy another one.

Leaky and faulty!
This thing is awful. I bought this a year ago but had not used it because I was saving up for my new pond and buying things a little at a time. I finally got around to building my pond last month and as soon as I installed this it kept leaking. I tried different clamps until finally the drip was minimal but it still dripped at the unions [not at the hoes so its the actual filter thst leaks]. It wasn't much drip so I told myself I would put up with it until next year and I would buy a better filter. Now a month in, it just stops working out of nowhere. Just dead. Of course Chewy won't replace it. And so much for manufacture warranty. Don't waste your money on this. Just terrible.

Leaky, leaky, leaky
Stay far away from this product. It will leak and drain your pond. Less than a year old and already so leaky it is unusable. The 2 year warranty is a farce. Can't found out anything about it or reach Jebao.

All my animals
This item is great and easy to assemble, do you sell the filters for this item, therefore if I ever have to replace them in the future I know where to order them.

Worked wonders
The only reason this got four and not a five star rating is the O-ring when you take it apart to clean the filter is a bugger to get back in place. But we haven’t seen our fish and the bottom of our garden pond for years. Like I said it Is working wonders.

Ya get what you pay for.
Dose it filter? Yes. Dose the u.v. light work? Yes. I have the next size up of this one on my 200 gal tank with a 1000gph pump everything seems to be running right no problems. Up keep is super easy as well. You get what you pay for in terms of product. It may not be name brand but it dose what it's intended to do!

Jebao, broken
Received broken. We ordered a new uv lamp. If this isn't the issue I will have to return it.

Good product
I have owned this filter for 7 years and it has performed well. The reason for 4 stars is that one of the plastic clamps broke and it leaked in that area. I improvised with a small vise grip. The UV light works for about 6 months so it will need replacement as part of maintenance. I also have power fail occasionally and being the filter is on higher ground I have no drainage.

Would not recommend.
Works ok. If power goes out, the filter looses it's pressure and the latches release. When power comes back on all the water in the pond is pumped onto the yard.
