Jebao SOW-20 Fish Aquarium Wavemaker

Bought 2 of these Jebao SOW-20 Fish Aquarium Wavemakers for a 60 gallon rimless cube aquarium. They are VERY powerful! I had to be strategic about where they were placed and I can only run them on the minimum power setting (30% of full power). I have to be careful about the waves getting out of control on certain wave pattern settings! I probably should have gotten the smaller (less powerful) version, but Chewy had such a fantastic sale on the SOW-20s I bought the bigger ones. I plan on setting up my old 180 gallon aquarium in the future and will move these to that tank when I do. Two of these would be more than enough flow for a 180 gallon aquarium at full power regardless of what kind of set up you have! These wavemakers have great features and settings. The units wirelessly pair easily with one another. Controlling both units from one controller is seamless and convenient! If I had a gripe it would be that you can only cycle the power settings from low power up through the higher power settings to get back to the low setting. I wish there was a “decrease power” button to make them toggle up OR down in power instead. I have only had them for a few weeks so I cannot speak to longevity. They do seem well made. I hope they last a long time!
