Sturdy,easy,fast to put together covered cat pan

Can build with one hand. Packed securely. Nice size stainless steel pan with strong plastic top. Top / sides did not bend when 14lbs cat lays on top. Love how fast it snaps together, & locks with added fastner. The non slip stickers helps to keep pan from sliding. Easy to clean unlock and flip the lid ,using the big scooper that came with the used litter slides off bottom easily. The cat flaps keep the toxic poops odor contained. My 4 cats 6yrs, 4yrs, 2yrs, 8months loves it. When i first got it , the 2yr jumped in while i was putting it together, the 6yr & 8month cats dont like the flaps. Even with flaps removed it helps contain odor alot. First day i let them play/ hide in pan with no litter. Then i put favorite litter in it. 2yr old cat loves the cat litter catch step. She rubs on it " brushing" her fur. They are all vigorous diggers, so at 2am the pan makes bonging noises. Its not that loud. I love how there is no litter mess or tracking grit . The top of pan grate and step removes that from their paw fur. It looks good in any room because of its neutral colour. The only thing i find as a con is the pan takes on the temperature of surroundings. Right now i had to put it in another area because it got too cold. Definitely planning on getting more.

The top unlocks and folds up for easy scooping, no need to remove the whole top or fight the scoop through the door to get the clumps out. The top locks easily into place, just a small turn to lock it. There is one door for your cat to enter, and two to exit (unless you leave the top flap open all the time). The charcoal filtration packs keep odors from lingering out. The extra stepping tray is a blessing to have, it has slats that catch the litter from your cats paws as they exit. The tray and litter pan come with nonslip pads to keep everything in place on hard wood floors.

Also the cats are inclined to use the hole in the top instead and it gets litter everywhere when they do. The litter catcher that comes with the box is to small to really do anything. The cats did use it almost immediately and it’s super easy to clean!

This litterbox is great. There’s a door on the front which is perfect for keeping our dogs nose out. Unfortunately, the day I set it up, my cats didn’t use it and I assume it’s because they were thrown off by the swinging door. We took the door off for a few days until they could get the hang of it and then put it back on. I like the top escape hatch for additional light. The litter box is big enough for two cats but has a sleek and compact design. It’s easy to clean and the lid latches down for carrying but unlatches easily for cleaning.

In a three cat household, litter boxes are important necessities. My other litter boxes are plastic, and they occasionally fail. I got this for a back up. Nope, nope, nope. As soon as I unpacked it, I knew it was going primary. It's sturdy, easy to clean, has a genius - and effective - tracking tray. All in all, it's the perfect primary litter box and - my cats didn't miss a beat, they all went in to inspect it and have been using it ever since. I may have to retire my remaining plastic ones and get two more of these. Worth the cost.

This litter box is sturdy and appears to be durable. The high sides help keep litter inside the box which seems to reduce tracking of litter. The litter box is actually larger than expected. The stainless steel makes this litter box easier to clean. My cat uses it but was a bit hesitant/confused by the flat door opening. I would recommend this litter box making sure one measures the space you’ll place it then compare to the JoeJoy measurements.
