joint MAX TRIPLE STRENGTH
was sent wrong chews. chews in the past were soft chews these are tablets. other chews had anti oxidants these do not
MUST HAVE- This stuff works!!
My black lab pit mix is 70lbs, has osteoarthritis in both her back knees and hip dysplasia in both hips. When I tell you I saw a DRASTIC change when adding Triple strength joint max to her diet...... it was a DRASTIC & QUICK change that occurred within a few hours! Again, when I say drastic.. I mean it was DRASTIC!!! Before Joint Max Skyler (my lab) was very lethargic and slow moving, barely got up to play even tho she's super energetic, limped everywhere she walked, barely moved even if her tail was wagging super fast and she had a big smile on her face. We can just tell her hip dysplasia and osteoarthritis was taking a toll on her. Once we added this supplement to her food I'm telling you with no exaggeration she was jumping up out of her bed and lasting way longer during walks. We see a huge difference when she misses out on it too so we made sure to set this baby up for auto shipping so that it can arrive every 8 weeks with no problems. I HIGHLY recommend this product for your pets joints. Skyler doesn't necessarily like taking the supplement as a treat so we squish 2 tablets between our fingers into her bowl during dinner for guaranteed consumption. Works like magic.
Very Large Pills
As much as this review is more of an opinion rather than an objection to the product itself, hopefully someone can find use out of this. I got these pills to crumble over my dogs food (she's a picky eater). These are quite crumbly and do not easily snap in 2. I underestimated the size of the pills. They are equivalent to 3-4 American quarters stacked on top of each other. When I received the package it was covered in some sort of red fur and dirt. Also, my original package was lost in transit, so chewy kindly reordered this package. So, thank you for that.
Great product, terrible product form.
I've used Joint Max for years and have always had great results from the products with my dogs. This is the first time I've tried the tablets and I definitely won't be buying them again. The tablets are soft, which is good, except they break/crumble very easily. The bottle I received had alot of broken tablets and powder. The tablets aren't scored and I find them a little difficult to break in half and actually have equal halves. Unfortunately when you try to break them in half sometimes the tablets just crumble. The product formulation is awesome for a joint supplement but the chewables and the powder Joint Max are better. With those you don't have any product waste from them breaking/crumbling like the tablets and get your money's worth. Just a little disappointed the tablets break and crumble so easily. The picture is of a handful I took out to see how many were broken. Not horrible but they should be better.
Off the pain meds!!
My 6 year old German Shepherd was diagnosed with advanced hip dysplasia to the point of needing hip replacements and started on carprofen. A friend told me about this product and it made a huge difference! It takes a couple of weeks for the full effect but she is moving around a lot more without the pain pills...wonderful product. Been on it for 6 months and she acts like a puppy again, even chasing her sister!
Pills are powder/ crumbly pieces
This product in itself is a good glucosamine regimen for my 15 yr old lab. My vet recommended the brand. I used to buy the triple maxx chews and swiched to the tablets. My last two bottles of the tablets have a good expiration date but 1/2 the bottle is nothing but powder and small crumbly pieces. I will go back to the chews.
Strong smelling
My dog doesn’t like them. I have to mix it in cat food.
No Brewers Yeast!
I've been giving my dog the soft-chews of Joint Max for some time but wanted to find something without the yeast since she has a tendency to itch. Finally figured out that these chewable tabs do the same thing with only one per day (not two) and no yeast! Much better. Thanks, Chewy!
Tablets but ok
My dogs prefer the chews - they think they're getting a treat. I thought I was buying chews. Oh well. The tablets crush easily into their food. Otherwise they won't eat them
Joint Max Triple Strength
Baxter is my 13 year old Beagle. He had developed stiff joints over the past few months, so I ordered the Joint Max Triple Strength tablets from Chewy. As soon as I received them I started giving him his recommended dose. Within two weeks he had shown a definite improvement. He no longer takes forever to climb up the porch stairs. He even has a bounce to his step!! He has also gotten much more playful and seems to enjoy his walks again. Thank you, Chewy, for selling this product. It's wonderful to see Baxter enjoying life again!!
