is the toy non-toxic and bpa free??

The Monster Balls are non-toxic and BPA free.

Do the Monster Ball's teeth grip the treats really hard, and is the mouth deep enough so that a treat can be placed back in its mouth about 1/2" - 1"? My dog needs a challenge.

The monster ball actually works best when treats are placed into the ball so that your dog can get that challenge. You can even stuff the insides with softer treats like peanut-buter or yogurt. Depending on the size of the treat, if left between the teeth, the grip strength can vary.

Depending on the size of the treats, the amount that will fit will vary. The 2.5 inch toy measures 2.5 x 3.5 in diameter and the 3.5 toy measures 3.5 by 4.5 in diameter.
