Not for rough chewers
My 10 month old mini Aussie loves this ball. It's like puppy crack for her. But she is a very hard chewer. She has played with this ball about a total of an hour and already has a chunk out of the handel. She will continue to play with it but can't be left alone with it. I was hoping that it was a little tougher.
Rocky approves
My bulldog loves this. He can ply out in the yard forever he loves to grab the handle and then Toss it across the yard and go after it he also enjoys kicking it like a soccer ball. Def a great purchase and worth it.
Not tough enough
I know they say to not let the dog have this toy alone but within 10 min the handle was chewed almost through. In addition my large breed dog was not interested in playing with it.
Loves the toy
My dog loves this toy. It is big enough for him as a bull mastiff pit bull mix and hasn't just popped it or ripped it to shreds. I would get again.

I originally got this for horses. After a couple years they lost interest in it but they had done no damage to it. so I gave it to my Aussie who has loved it since he was a puppy. He’s a year old now. He started to chew off pieces of the handle so I tied it up in a tree. He can’t chew the handle but loves jumping up and making it swing.

I’ve been putting off buying this for years now (have no idea why). I’ve seen Snake Discovery on YouTube give these toys to their American Alligator, and they held up for them for a while, so I finally decided to buy an array of jolly pet products for them. This was BY FAR their favorite. Butters here ran between the three different balls we got them, finally deciding to run around with this one in his mouth. The handle is sturdy, and just the right size for him. In the future I may buy the 10in. one, simply because the 8in. is a little small for our Saints. I will absolutely be adding this to our staple products list.
Morning ball
This is the ball that my dog loves. It was the ball that brought my dog back after morning the loss of her housemate. It is strong.
Absolute great buy
My Aussie loves to chew on thing, except the designated chewing toys! I got a medium Jolly Ball and the 3 month old boy loved it! Not only he can carry it, herd it, he can also chew on the handle. Totally worth it.
Not impressed
Bought this ball so my puppy could play tug o war with a tree. She took the ball off the counter & within 5 minutes she had the handle chewed off of it. Not a good ball at all.
Disappointed
I'm bummed! A friend with an active weimaraner recommended this toy and my bully mix rescue rapidly destroyed the handle (in less than 5 minutes). Not a good toy for "extreme chewers".
