I purchased the JW Pet Activitoy Birdie House of Mirrors Toy. She likes it and plays with it everyday.
Love these. Bought two of them for a large cage full of parakeets. They already had some mirrors but these are a hit, with the three panel refection surface.
My birds love this mirror especially seeing peripherally.
Arrived only a day after I placed the order and was immediately a success with my (very picky) little parakeets. Highly recommended!
Be careful when tightening in cage! I broke the screw off before it could be used and ruined it.
I have one in the canary cage, and he loves it. I have one for my conure (keeper of the birds) who wants to sit on my canaries and feed them till they grow up to be her size. The canaries want nothing to do with it. This kept her busy for a while, but they get bored easy. It still takes her attention off the canaries for a while. I think a budgie would like it better.
I got this for my Parakeets Isaac and Fredi. It's 3 fun mirrors not realistic like their other mirror. So when they look into the mirrors they look distorted like a fun house mirror so it's taken them longer to get used to it. But slowly they are.
Not your regular mirror keeps my bird entertained for hours I put it right in front of his seed dish and he laughs at it. Very cute highly recommend!
If anyone is thinking about getting a mirror for their bird set up and isn’t very experienced on the right toys for birds, I just wanted to say please don’t use mirrors. Mirrors are proven and do drive birds crazy and mentally I’ll in the long run. It isn’t healthy for them.
Birds actually love to see themselves. Love the mirror.
