I was using regular nail clippers to clip my cats claws for the longest time. It was harder to do and it split their nails instead of a clean cut. I know, I'm a bad cat mom for that....I finally found these and it is so much easier and much nicer on their nails! You can't beat it, especially at this price. It's better for the cats and easier for the owner.
Take a pass

These clippers are stiff and "sticky". Takes effort to open, then clip. It doesn't flow smoothly, so it's difficult to do an efficient quick job - giving your pet time to flinch before you can get an accurate cut, then risk injury. Ratings forced at least one star, I wouldn't give it any:(
Feline Nail Clippers

I was using another type of nail clipper on my cat. Larger, clumsier, and her nails were splitting. While volunteering for the SPCA of FL at the Orlando Cat Café, I grabbed a pair of their clippers to show a new adopting Mom how to clip her cats nails. The Grip Soft were so much easier to use than mine. So, I immediately added them to my Chewy monthly order. I will use these from now on. I think my kitty likes them much better, too.
I Don't Do Pedicures!

We are still in the planning stage. I am just not prepared for the Knock-down, Drag-out battle! The clippers are easy to hold and seem to be easy use, but I'm not there yet, and, neither is Phoebe!
Just the right size

My dog unfortunately chewed my last pair of nail clippers for my cat, so I went with these as a replacement. You can't beat the cost! These are the perfect size for little cat nails and very sharp.
Easy to use

These clippers are so easy to use! I dont know why I waited so long. We find waiting for the kitties to fall asleep on the couch is the perfect time for a nail trim. All 3 cats dont seem to mind having it done. We do a little bit at a time to avoid hitting the the quick.
Sharp and strong

They're very sharp and cut clean. However the holes for your fingers are on the small side so if you have big hands this would not be good for you.
These are the best clippers I have used

I don't know why, but they are able to cut without splintering the nail. I have a more expensive pair that I always thought was adequate, but I didn't quite like the grips. So in search of tighter fitting (just my preference) grips, I actually found better blades. If you like small clippers, which I prefer for more control and easier viewing, you can't go wrong with these.
Very Dull, freaked the cats
on Feb 4, 2019
These are not good quality clippers. I bought them to replace the store brand pair we bought when they were kittens and have dulled since then. These were more dull than those. Ended up having to switch back to the old ones. They cut the nails very roughly and the force required spooked the cats.

This nail clipper is easy to grip and small enough which makes it precise. One downside was that it smelled strongly like rubber and oil, but I soaked the scissor in water for a few days and the most of the smell is gone.
