JW Pet Gripsoft Slicker Brush Soft Pin comes equipped with a rubber-sheathed handle design, which offers extreme comfortability and precision. This Gripsoft technology features non-slip grips which are made to optimize comfort and control while grooming your furry friend. The complete Gripsoft line offers a variety of designs specifically made to address each of your pet's needs to ensure a beautifully soft and shiny coat.
Metal teeth in two different lengths lift shedding hair from the undercoat and loosen lightly matted portions of fur. The teeth are turned 90 degrees away from the skin keeping them parallel to the skin to prevent "raking" the skin and make grooming more comfortable for your dog.

Did not work for my shih tzu

I bought this slicker brush for my shih tzu and when trying to brush his tail the pins pulled and got stuck over and over. I have a smaller slicker brush that doesn't get stuck in his hair but wanted one a litter larger and easier to hold. Unfortunately this one didn't work for me or my shih tzu.

Not Soft Pins

I unfortunately broke my old Soft slicker brush so ordered this one. I don't know if they sent me the wrong one perhaps but after I used it a few times I can definitely say the pins are very stiff and harsh.

I used to use the miracle slicker brush bud die to it being low quality & falling apart after a few months I was looking for something similar but better quality & this is it! I love the JW brush. It’s works great. & also mine can in blue & white & not the grey & yellow which I was happy about.

The brush is good quality. My dog gets very itchy during shedding season, I use this daily to help remove the shedded fur and noticed she stopped itching as much.

Seems cheaply made, uncomfortable to hold. Was looking for softer pins than this has—these pins are very firm/stiff and very closely packed. I’ve gotten cheaper pin brushes of better quality.

This is a pretty good value buy for a slicker. After a full body groom, the brush is holding up! And my furry companion is fluffed up The only "con"(read this lightly), the brush is bulky. I didn't expect this out of box but that's alright.

it’s a good product and it lasts long but my dog kinda chewed it up a bit so keep it away from your dog if unsupervised i have a cocker spaniel so she has a lot of hair and this looks great and it doesn’t seem like it hurts her she lays down and relaxes and loves when i take this brush out great product

Great Brush for Doodles

I have a goldendoodle with a wavy fur texture and this brush is a must have! It gets out most of the the fur that doesn't fall out on its own (because it certainly isn't being shed out) and regular brushing keeps my girl from needing a dematter or other brushes. The only thing is I feel it's still a little harsh for her ears and nose so I usually use a smaller softer slicker brush with protective caps on the pins for that. It is perfect for the other 80% of her body though so I certainly can't complain.

I have MANY brushes and combs for my two doodles but this brush was recommended on a doodle site I follow so I thought I would give it a try. Both my dogs and I really like using this brush and it does the trick with their thick, curly doodle hair that mats if I don't groom daily. The brush easily cleans out with a comb. Recommend very highly to anyone with long or short haired dogs.
