Slicker brush

I had purchased the soft slicker brushes in the colors above. Grey and yellow . When it started falling apart I purchased another and a white and blue one came ,it’s horrible I have rough collies and it’s so sharp it hurt them even through their double coating I called chewy and got a refund and donated that the they said to order another one as they were sure it would now be the right one well no it’s the same blue and white one that’s not usable .I again called chewy and I don’t think I was refunded for that one ,maybe they didn’t believe me but they told me to reorder it .such a good company get this straightened out please. The blue and white ones are sharp the grey and yello had soft tips .

SO SHARP NO PINS !!!

I was looking for a new slicker brush for my Shih tzu but I ended up using this for my golden retriever because the brush pins were so much sharper than I thought !!!!! Holy moly IT POKED MY FINGER AND MADE ME BLEED !!!!! When I purchased this I didn’t know that it did NOT have pin covers or whatever they’re called and man was I in for a surprise.. I was brushing my hand to hopefully dull down the pins before I brushed my Shih tzu but then one of the pins caught and actually stabbed my finger. Buyers beware :(

Not skin friendly.

In the picture it looked like beads on the bristles so it wouldn't be hurt. Not the case.

Not for my dog.

My dog has pretty short hair. It is not fluffy or thick. She just does not like when I try using this brush on her, even if I apply very lightly. She just gets up and walks away as if to say "no thanks"

Slicker Brush Ergonomically Comfortable

I have an older brush just like the one pictured. The new one I received is blue and white and larger than my old one. The bristles are very stiff. I am having trouble adjusting to this brush as I don’t want it to scratch my elderly dogs’ skin.

Not bad but dogs don’t like it

Go this for my dogs and they’re not the biggest fans. It’s hard to brush my doodle with it since he does not like the feel of it.

GripSoft slicker brush

Brush is NOT soft! The pins are hard and hurt me when hubby gently rubbed it on my arm. No way would I use this on my sweet dog. It would probably hurt him too since he’s short haired.

Not very gentle on skin

Brush is advertised as being for senstive skin. My Austrialian Cattle dog mix does not tolerate this brush even using as little pressure as possible. He bites at the brush and will not come near me if I have that brush in my hand. He tolerates other brushes but I was hoping for one that would pick up fur of his top coat.
