This does a good job but is very heavy!!

Too heavy!!!! I have a toy poodle and it takes a very long time to brush her out, gently. This brush is exceptionally heavy, and makes the task much harder for that

I had purchased the soft slicker brushes in the colors above. Grey and yellow . When it started falling apart I purchased another and a white and blue one came ,it’s horrible I have rough collies and it’s so sharp it hurt them even through their double coating I called chewy and got a refund and donated that the they said to order another one as they were sure it would now be the right one well no it’s the same blue and white one that’s not usable .I again called chewy and I don’t think I was refunded for that one ,maybe they didn’t believe me but they told me to reorder it .such a good company get this straightened out please. The blue and white ones are sharp the grey and yello had soft tips .

SO SHARP NO PINS !!!

I was looking for a new slicker brush for my Shih tzu but I ended up using this for my golden retriever because the brush pins were so much sharper than I thought

I was looking for a new slicker brush for my Shih tzu but I ended up using this for my golden retriever because the brush pins were so much sharper than I thought !!!!! Holy moly IT POKED MY FINGER AND MADE ME BLEED !!!!! When I purchased this I didn’t know that it did NOT have pin covers or whatever they’re called and man was I in for a surprise.. I was brushing my hand to hopefully dull down the pins before I brushed my Shih tzu but then one of the pins caught and actually stabbed my finger. Buyers beware :(

Not skin friendly.

In the picture it looked like beads on the bristles so it wouldn't be hurt. Not the case.

Not for my dog.

My dog has pretty short hair. It is not fluffy or thick. She just does not like when I try using this brush on her, even if I apply very lightly. She just gets up
