I ordered this about a week ago, and I was wondering if I should be worried about my Cockatiel chewing on the perch?

This perch is made of a non-toxic sanding glue on ABS Plastic, which is also non-toxic. It is not harmful if chewed on or ingested by a bird.

What is the length of both the small and regular sand perches?

The dimensions for the Small are 8 x 4 x 2 inches and the Regular is 12.5 x 2.25 x 1.5 inches.

I read a review that this perch has pits of glass on it. Is this true? How could you sell something like that.

The grade of sand used is fine enough to give your bird the needed grip to comfortably use the perch but not irritate their feet. Large shards of glass are not used on the perch.

Do these fit all cages I just bought a vision 2 from here and want to add a few more perches will these fit

Great perch

It keeps the nails shorter. I’ve tried other perches and the bird chew the sand paper off slowly and this perch is heavy duty plastic and they can’t chew it off

Not as pictured

The pictures showed a layer of material over gritty sand. The actual product was sand on top and it falls off everywhere. Screw is short so does not fit all enclosures

Didn’t Last

I got this perch for a small bird that weighs almost nothing, but the attachment end fell apart after about a week. Cute but disappointing.
