Does this toy have a metal wire in the middle of the rope????

This bird perch does not have any wires in it.

How can it be "bendable" if there's no wire core? I read your answer to another question.

This perch is made of specially woven, multi-colored cotton that will soothe and exercise tender feet. Depending on the length of the cable, you can create loops, curves, and other interesting shapes by twisting and bending the rope.

This perch is recommended for cockatiels, lovebirds, conures, lories and other medium sized birds. The perch measures 1.25 inches in diameter.

If there is no wire core in the middle of this, to make it keep it's shape, wouldn't it be unable to hold a bird up if used on top of the cage, and just sink down in the middle where the bird stands instead?

The rope will hold its shape without exposing dangerous wires because of how tightly wrapped it is.

Must have perch

My little conure has 3 of these. She hangs out on them the majority of her time in her cage. She enjoys hanging off these perches. These perches are best for her

Material Bird/Parrot Perch Rope

I like that it was soft on the feet however t was not even in the cage for 8 hours and my parrot ate around the plastic piece on the ends and it fell apart...so

I like that it was soft on the feet however t was not even in the cage for 8 hours and my parrot ate around the plastic piece on the ends and it fell apart...so for me that did not work well but probably would work fine on a parrot that does not eat things lol

Needed for the width of his cage 32inches

Over the years , the product comes too long, sometimes up to 34”! I end up donating the ones that are too long. Very frustrating . I try to buy this type perch

Over the years , the product comes too long, sometimes up to 34”! I end up donating the ones that are too long. Very frustrating . I try to buy this type perch in a pet store so I can measure with a soft measuring tape before buying. This one was right on at 32 inches.

I love these bendable perches. I use them in all of my enclosures for my birds. This is on top of the birdcage where my red-bellied parrot likes to hang out in his outside time. It is large enough to be very comfortable for him. I've had a number of these over the years and they are absolutely AWESOME because they last for years and years. I have some that I have had for 5+ years.
