Inability to open the black plastic snap to open and close the underbelly strap.

My trainer recommended this harness for Tanner and the Jwalker that she had fit Tanner wonderfully and was very easy for me to put on and off him. The Jwalker that I received was heavy with extremely large and heavy metal rings. The plastic snap (buckle) was cumbersome and I am unable to snap it open. Tanner weighs 13 pounds and is a small dog. Even if I was able to put it on him, I wouldn't use it because of its weight and bulky construction.

The harness drastically reduces the amount of pulling your dog can do. The fit was a little challenging for our pup. The medium was too big and the small barely fit. The manufacturer does have extenders for sale though. After wearing it a few times, the small harness worked fine for our pup. It is a little bit of a hassle if your dog likes to switch from one side of the sidewalk to the other because the clip is on the side next to the handler.

This harness is very well made. Strong and secure. What I don’t like is the JWalker logo in the black tape all across the back like my dog is supposed to be an ad for JEalker. And it could use a D ring center front so every time your dog switches from walking on your right or left you have to reattach lead on that side(retractable leash), ideally if this harness had a d ring center shoulder you could run pretty well with this harness. Maybe logo could be JW with outline happy dogface and ears more tempting to buy. harness.

Its SO much easier to walk my dog

I had been using another harness that had the Martingale in the front. It was always getting tangled up under his feet and body. This Walker has the martingale

This Walker has the martingale on the side so it keeps him next to me and 98% of the time it doesn't get tangled up. He even walks better with me and with training, doesn't pull as much!

The harness is made of sturdy high quality nylon and hardware. We bought it for a rescue collie who pulled so hard, it was difficult for us to walk him and he really pulled hard at his neck too. I was intrigued by this harness' concept and it works! We are able to walk him now without hurting him or ourselves. You do have to make sure you have the harness clipped on the side the dog is walking- but there is a hook on each side. It does not solve his car reactivity but I did not expect it to. However, walks are now a pleasure for both of us.
