K9 Sport Sack Air 2 Forward Facing Dog Carrier Backpack

our 1-year-old French bulldog is a champion when it comes to hikes, but a small dog his size does have his limits, which was about 4 mi at a time. He loves this backpack, I have found it very easy to get him into it, and we are now able to hike with him and have him with us on much longer adventures. Absolutely would recommend! He is 20 lb and I got the large. He does need a bolster in the bottom, I just stuff a sweatshirt or other gear that we need in there and that works fine for him.

I ordered the medium size for a 20-lb chiweenie. Perfect size without using blocks. Just roomy enough. A small size would have been too small for her. Durable, quality product. Worth the higher price, which I thought I might regret... but I didn't. Room for water bottle, doggie bags, Kleenex... Although, I do plan to buy another one....the large one with a detachable pouch for keys, etc

I bought mine based on size of my puppy when he’s full grown (he’s a 5 month old corgi, so I bought a large). It’s pretty big for him, but I stuff the bottom with a towel or blanket and it still works - just need to make sure all the straps are secured and tight! My dog hates his harness and leash, but is surprisingly ok with me stuffing him in this sports sack. He seems to really enjoy seeing the world from “my point of view” (higher up). I use it when I go on longer hikes or walks and he gets tired, or taking in stores when I’m worried he’ll be too distracted.

I got the medium size for my jackrussel whippet who is about 23lbs and it's perfect. She's a little scared to get in, but then loves it. Traveling around, people are more likely to let her in a store in it.

I was hoping to use this pack as a way to safely take my puppy with me to new places before he was fully vaccinated. It isn't super easy to get on a squirming puppy, but once he was in, it was great. The problem however is the quality of the pack and the poor weight distribution. Even for a 15lb dog, this needs to have more support and a hip belt/waist strap. It was painful to carry on my back and kept slipping too low for puppy to be able to see over my shoulder. Wouldn't recommend, sadly, because the concept is great.

This thing isn’t the most comfortable for my pup but she’s not really a “carry me around” kinda gal so that’s not really a criticism of this bag. It’s well made and definitely keeps your pup well contained with no danger of them falling out (even if they’re wiggling). I do however have to give a HUGE shoutout to Chewy customer service though, not only did they give me a refund but they told me to just donate the bag rather than send it back. Love it!

We like this backpack and our dog feels pretty secure. The chest strap is not the most comfortable but other than that, we love the backpack. Our Havanese is only 14.5 lbs

This is perfect for my mini-dachshund. I've tried other carrier bags and this is the most comfortable for both me and my pet.

We have been using this a lot lately due to some knee arthritis and my pup will willingly get into it (a treat or two doesn't hurt). But I found the ergonomics of it difficult to fit my body and there was a lot of pressure on my shoulders. There wasn't a waist strap that could have been used to relieve the pressure. We just went on a hiking vacation and actually put him in this Sack and then put him into a regular day pack and it worked great and was much more comfortable. He is very happy just hanging out back there and he lets me know when he wants out or back in.

Highly recommend this backpack , it’s really well made , make sure you size your little pupper before ordering! The first one I got was too big, so I ordered a small one . Chewy issued me a refund and told me to donate the wrong sized one to a shelter ! Chewy is a great company!
