Would be perfect except...
By twins on Feb 28, 2021
This is such a high quality pack. Getting my dog into it was pretty easy. I really like how she is able to sit high on my back and see over my shoulder. The shoulder straps are wide and have a lot of cushion. When bike riding with her, she squirmed around a lot and seemed uncomfortable. It also put a lot of pressure on my shoulder blades where most of her weight was. I think this was due to learning over the bike handles because when walking with her in the pack there is no discomfort. I think this pack would benefit from a waist strap to help carry some of the weight.

Now my dog can join me everywhere
By LegnaB on Feb 8, 2021
It took me a few days to figure out the best way to settle my dog into the backpack, but now we are both masters. She stands patiently while I buckle and then sits while I zip it up. We use it to go on motorcycle rides, she’s a 30lbs dog, it wasn’t terribly comfortable to carry her but it also didn’t bother me that much. My dog is very easy going, so she just sits and chill like a pro through it all, she seems to love the rides. I will continue to use this.

Our Pup Loves It
By Camper1822 on Jan 9, 2021
My wife wanted to purchase this pack so that we could take our young (4-5months old) pup with us while hiking and snowshoeing this winter. We have used it on three trips only after our pup got tired or cold and he has done great with it all times. Our pup (small Australian Labradoodle) weighed 17lbs when we first got the pack and currently he weighs 21lbs (supposed to grow to 25-30lbs). For the first trip we used a rolled towel under him to boost him up, but now he fits fine by himself in it. It was a little tricky learning all the straps at first, while trying to get him to want to sit in it, but with a few treats he quickly learned what was happening and now doesn’t mind the process. The only downside to the pack is that I wish it had a hip belt to keep him up higher and not have to cinch the arm straps so tight. Overall, would buy again and approve of overall design and craftsmanship. … more

Medium too bug for Frenchie Pup
By Jaimefuji on Feb 27, 2021
It’s a great looking bag, and I love the attachment mimi back back that comes on the front; but definitely needs to fit correctly otherwise it’s super awkward to try & get your pup into. Now going to return and look at ordering a small or xsmall for him .

it works but...

Takes some getting used and I don’t think I am there yet. If you have a bigger dog (30lbs or above) and are a smaller person be sure to get the model with the waist strap. This model doesn’t have it and the situations feels quite unstable (my dog leans like crazy).

Amazing for my lazy baby
By Annie on Feb 28, 2021
My pup gets tired pretty quickly, so this pack is amazing! It allows us to go on long hikes together. She's about twenty pounds so my shoulders do get tired after a bit, but I'm working on figuring out how to adjust it to prevent that.

Great product but sizing can be tricky
By Savana on Jan 5, 2021
Bought this backpack for a hiking trip a few months ago. My chihuahua cannot keep up with the rest of the pack, and he was very happy to be toted around this way. He's a chunky boy, so the small was just a little too snug, and the medium too long. We kept the medium and solved the problem by adding a soft yoga block to the bottom. He was a very secure in it, though it can hurt your shoulders after a while. Overall, this backpack made it possible to take my dog on hikes and to the lake, rather than him being left at home. He was a very happy camper.

Not secure

I was so excited when I saw this but it does not secure my fur baby securely.

Couldn’t be more impressed
By MikeErmo on Oct 10, 2020
I have to say, I didn’t have high hopes for this product. My dog is kind of weird when it comes to anything he’s not used to or anything that he feels is constricting. But I can’t believe how wrong I was, he LOVES it. It took about 30 seconds to put on and he was happy as a clam. It is comfortable for him and comfortable for the two of us humans. The quality is outstanding as well. I can see this bag lasting us a long time. 5/5, I would recommend.

Works great!
By Helpful on Oct 26, 2020
My pup was born without her front legs, so she gets tired of walking about a mile. This backpack allows us to go on longer hikes, and she does great in it. Because of her disability, most backpacks don't work well. This one holds her tight and upright.
