This food is formulated for lactating goats.

Why does the ingredients tag on this bag carry a caution not to be fed to goats who are milked for human consumption?

This manufacturer advises that this is a warning that they are required to put on the product.

is this ok if the kids with their mama also eat it ?

The Milk Maker feed is designed to support lactation in nanny goats. It won’t hurt anything if the kids eat some of it, however, it’s not the best feed option for them.

However, I listed positive things about the food my geese and ducks will not eat the food. I should have only ordered one bag not two. I will switch bag to the floating food for them. I have no idea why those choices for floating feed for waterfowl is not available in 50 lb bags

My Nigerian on regular feed milks two cups at a time. when I get this feed to her I get three to four cups of milk each milking. definitely worth the price!

Goats love this

I think I do see an increase in milk production. I ran out and definitely had less milk per goat.

I ordered Kalmbach Milk Maker because they didn't have Kent Blue Seal Dairy in stock. I am quite disappointed as the smell is very off putting and my goats are definitely not producing more milk. As a matter of fact they have decreased milk production on Kalmbach Milk Maker. I also noticed that there is benzoic acid in the ingredients. That was an oversight on my part, but I do not like that it contains it. I won't be buying this product again.
