The girls eggs were getting a little messy so I tried this emulsified oil of oregano elixir in their water. After 3 days it did the trick! I've tried just plain old oil of oregano and the girls won't drink that. It makes an oil slick on top of the water and it's rather thick. Since this product is emulsified it blends in with the water and gets in tune with their system really quick! I started to add this to their water about every 3 or 4 days with good results!

My Seramas had been sneezing. I tried an antibiotic but it came back. Added this oregano oil to their water and they’re all back to their healthy selves. I’ve given it to my Cochins and silkies too for sneezing and respiratory issues. This works amazingly well.

I’ve always wanted to try Oregano Oil with my chickens because I heard an Avian Biologist say, “the way to a chicken’s health is through their gut”. I know what we eat as humans really does affect our health. I received this Kalmbach product and set my birds up with four waterers with 15 mil of the oregano solution in each of the four waterers. What I noticed first was the birds were drinking less water. The levels were going down a lot slower. I didn’t notice an increase in egg production which I was hoping for. Under ingredients vegetable oil is listed as a carrier for the oregano oil. I’m not sure if vegetable oil is good for chickens but I know it’s not the best oil for humans. I think I’d like to see an organic alternative, something healthier for both the bird and humans. To sum up my review I’d like to see the vegetable oil changed to something healthier, I’ll keep trying and see if the birds will get used to the flavor and drink an adequate amount of water and if their egg production will increase.

I’ll be honest, this product isn’t anything magical. I didn’t see any difference in my flock, but I also didn’t see a downside. This didn’t mind the flavor so it’s easy to feed, just add to water to their water, they drank it without a problem. They product smells nice, and the packaging makes it easy to dose. I probably won’t buy this again since I did not see any difference.

With the winter months quickly approaching, this is great boost to give our flock to keep them healthy! There are two openings - one for larger batches and one for smaller. The small opening is very easy to use - it reminds me of when I was younger and would help my dad with medicating cows. Very high-quality bottle design. The chickens seem to like it, and it only has a few ingredients. It makes about 33 gallons if using for maintenance - which is super affordable!

This oregano oil water additive comes from a brand I trust. It has a measuring device as part of the bottle, which is really handy. The liquid smells like oregano and mixes with water easily. It contains vegetable oil, which I guess is fine. The term ‘vegetable oil’ is pretty broad and I’m sure some people would prefer to know exactly what type of oil is in the bottle. I have been feeding this to my birds for a little over a week now. For the first three days, I monitored my flock’s use of the infused water by setting out two equally sized waterers. One contained the oregano oil and one did not. On all three days, the birds drank more of the oregano oil infused water than they did the plain water. I guess they like it. The products claims to improve the birds’ health, that they will lay cleaner eggs, and their feathers will be shinier. None of that is apparent after a week so I will continue to use the product to see if I notice any differences. It is the beginning of molt season so the girls can use all the extra nourishment they can get. I did not give five stars because of the ‘vegetable oil’ and because I’m not yet sure if there are any improvements in my flock so far.

This oregano liquid supplement is especially easy to use. I like that it has it's own measuring spout right on the bottle. You can definitely smell the oregano

This oregano liquid supplement is especially easy to use. I like that it has it's own measuring spout right on the bottle. You can definitely smell the oregano. My chickens won't drink anything added to their water. I don't know why. So we just add it to our mash we make for them and then they'll consume it just fine. Any supplement for gut health is a good thing.

I mix it with 3 gallons of water and have to refill it every single day.. I also have plain water available but they chose this water over and over. I’ve noticed better quality eggs and even more eggs! It’s easy to mix into water and at the price point isn’t expensive for what it does. I will be a continuing user.
