What shoulder does strap rest on?

Would this be suitable for bike rides?

The carriers have a shoulder strap which is intended to be used in the front. When riding on a bike this may cause the bag with the pet to hang down. The strap may be tightened enough to prevent the pet from hanging but it will ultimately depend on the person riding their bike and level of comfort.

Taavi enjoyed his ride!

My adult pup weighs slightly under 4-1/2 pounds. It worked great for him, but it's hard to imagine an 8-pound dog being comfortable in the sling. I could be wrong. I did take some very firm cardboard cut to size, wrapped it in a towel, and inserted that in the bottom of the sling to give Taavi something firm underneath him. The sling seems well-made, but the bottom doesn't really offer firm footing. Taavi decided not to stick his head all the way out ... just his nose! He really did enjoy the ride :-).

Back to the drawing board

This is a very well made carrier but small is too small & medium is too big. My dog is 10lbs & doesn’t look very comfortable in this. Been spending a fortune trying to replace the one I purchased here 5 years ago as it digs into my shoulder. I don’t really care for the tie closure on this one as she gets tangled when I’m putting her in it.

Horrible product

I was going off the reviews so o ordered one for my puppy but once I received mines the zipper was broken and the string for the neck part easily came out !

My dog carrier

I love my new dog carrier. She likes to be close to me so this carrier has her snuggled right next to me. Everybody loves this carrier.

What a lifesaver!

This dog sling was something I was initially on the fence about purchasing for my pup (he'd surely grow out of it immediately) but I am so glad I did. For those first weeks where it's hard to leave them on their own for too long and they can't be on the ground in public until fully vaccinated this sling made it possible for me to keep doing what I needed to hands free. I am around horses often and move around a lot so being able to bring the pup along without having any worry about picking up illness or getting underfoot/underhoof was key. He did grow out of it pretty quickly but it got us to the point of him being fully vaccinated and able to hang on his own a bit better. It was by far the most secure option in the small carrier product offering and I had so many people asking where I got it and taking pictures for reference that I ultimately gave it away to a pup-expecting friend when it was too tight a squeeze for us. Highly recommend even if it's not something you would be able to use for that long the cost isn't so steep and the ease of use and peace of mind are huge.

great pouch to carry your fur baby.

I love this carrier. My Pup gets to go everywhere with me. He is so small it is great in the house also to keep him safe from being stepped on.

Nicely Made. Highly recommend but watch size

SO wish my 10 lb. cat would have fit. It was close. Well made, smart design. Get outside with your animal and let it enjoy the fresh air. Said up to 10 pound cat or dog. Maybe 8 or 9 but top enders might be snug. If they come out with a bigger size I'm snatching one up!

Fun Pup Carrier.

My wife bought the pup carrier for our 13+ year old 5 rescue pup. We adopt hospice care dogs and some are not able to get around very well, so now we can carry this little one around with us. We have purchased other slings for larger dogs, but they were too big for the little peanut. The Expandable Sling Dog & Cat Carrier, Small fits the bill for this tiny pup.

Great item!

This sling works perfectly for my fur baby. He’s comfortable and so am I! Also, it’s nice to Atlas he gets bigger, the bag can expand to accommodate him.
