In general, I love these CritterTrail tubes. They are easy for our dwarf hamster to crawl through and go exploring "outside" of her cage, the bubbles are easy to crawl up and down, and I love how it connects with our old SAM tubes. Specific to this pack, I like having a variety of straight tubes - this really adds a lot of flexibility to our hamster habitat.

Dwarves only

For a Syrian you want 3" or larger in diameter. These work for a dwarf species but better options exist. You should not be using a cage that these would connect
