While this hammock is capable of holding a guinea pig, hammocks are not suitable for guinea pigs because suspending them off of the ground can lead to injury.

The size of this sleeper is perfect plenty of room and really cozy for small pets. Unfortunately, the fabric has a strange smell that just doesn’t go away, even after washing. It’s a shame because the design and fit are great, but the odor makes it hard to enjoy.I will not let them use it with that strong smell

Great size, very soft!

Fits great in a critter nation! It came out of the bag with a very strong plastic smell. I'll have to cut off the metal pieces connecting the tabs to the lanyard

Fits great in a critter nation! It came out of the bag with a very strong plastic smell. I'll have to cut off the metal pieces connecting the tabs to the lanyard clips to make it washable. It's very soft like rabbit fur, I'm sure my rats will love it!

Broke after two days

Big Enuf For Adult Cats & Kittens Love Them!

A month ago I rescued a feral mama cat and her five teeny kittens. Because I needed to keep them separate from my own house cats, a local rescue loaned me a 3 story kitty condo. As the kittens got steady on their feet, I realized it would be a while before they could make it to the top and would be limited to the bottom floor. I came to Chewy in search of some sort of ladder system to assist the kittens to the top. I found these hammocks and saw the potential and bought 3. They are HUGE, but worked perfectly for my needs! My picture is the final set up using all 3 hammocks. Mama can fit comfortably on one, although due to her previous situation she prefers the hard floor. All 5 kittens have learned to scale the entire condo using these hammocks like monkeys in a jungle! It's so fun to watch. They pounce on them, climb on them upside down, and even use them as slides. I was expecting to have to resew the hooks with all the sharp claws and teeth, but with a month of continuous use they have held up to 6 cats!
