I bought this pet enclosure for my balcony, to avoid urine stains on it and because large hawks keep eying my cats and dogs when they are there. I wasn't sure if the size would be too small or confined, but after setting it up, both my Toy Poodles (aprox. 7 lbs) and my cats (aprox. 12 lbs each), like going there. My cats go there to catch some sun and my dogs use a corner of it as a bathroom (I put puppy pads there). The enclosure has to doors that you can open on top, so that you can clean inside and 2 doors (one on each side) for the pets to get inside). I am happy with this product and feel that it was worth the high price. I am substracting one star because when you are leaning and cleaning inside, you need a place to hold your hand to keep balance and not fall inside, and the enclosure is flimsy to hold your partial weight, so you always feel that you may lose your balance and fall flat on your face. I would recomenf that this procut uses a stronger type of metal to ake this cage or at least for the middle part, where both parts meet, which is where you normally tend to hold on to. It seems that the type of metal or wiring used it is similar to that of a metal hanger, so not very strong. It would not work for a very active or mischievous dog, as he probably would force his way our of there. Wired roof with 2 access doors and inner water proof liner optional and sold separately). I wanted to avoid urine stains on my balcony, so lining was a must. Very thick and secured to cage by multiple hooks. You can wipe clean or remove and wash in the bath tube by hand/or shower.
