Disappointed

I bought this for my guinea pigs. It's a great size, but the boards did not want to connect together without being hammered, one of the boards has to be glued together

I bought this for my guinea pigs. It's a great size, but the boards did not want to connect together without being hammered, one of the boards has to be glued together because it came in two pieces, and it's not very stable and secure. One of the pigs climbed on it and it collapsed under her. They enjoyed hiding under it but I don't want to use it in their cage because of how unsecure it is.

I got this hammock for my guinea pigs and they loved it so I got a second one for my two chinchillas and they use it often as well. I will say that the wood on the first one I got had to be sanded down to fit properly but the second one fit together perfectly.

My rats like this hammock, though I had to put it in a box so they don’t feel exposed when they sit in it. Great for play time outside their enclosure, they seem to appreciate having somewhere to mellow out when the younger rats are still playing. The only problem is that the hammock often touches the ground, I’m assuming because rats are pretty small and don’t spread their weight evenly over the hammock. They don’t seem to mind, though!

They chew on the sides and I keep it next to my hair piles and my shy girl loves to poke her head out, grab some hay, and sink back to safety.

kinda bummed

I ordered 4 of these hammocks. 1 for each of my pigs and while putting all of them together I noticed that one of the sets wasn’t cut so I cannot assembled it. :(
