Feeding Instructions

Kaytee Super C Greens are a great small animal treat. Vitamin C is an essential nutrient for guinea pigs, so supplementing their diet with treats and veggies that give them Vitamin C is important. This treat is a great source of Vitamin C and contains healthy ingredients like peas, kale and parsley. The treat is a nice add-on to a pet’s regular diet – it can be sprinkled onto their regular food or used in a foraging mat/feeder for more mental engagement. We fed it to our hamster and three guinea pigs. Our hamster and two of the guinea pigs loved it. The other guinea pig didn’t seem very interested. Overall, it’s a good quality treat that supplies an important nutrient.

I have 2 guinea pigs and a dwarf hamster so I thought this would work great for them to ensure they got the nutrients they needed but I was afraid they would eat

Violet loved the flaxseed!
Violet absolutely adored these. I sprinkled a little bit on top of her normal pellets that she has and she even left the pellets behind. I didn't realize that flaxseed
