This lead rope for horse training features nylon that’s braided for strength as well as a leather popper and a heavy-duty swivel snap. It does not feature a handle.

The clasp is so clunky but the weight of the rope is decent enough. It’s a little lighter than I expected but feels much better and has way more control than those

The clasp is so clunky but the weight of the rope is decent enough. It’s a little lighter than I expected but feels much better and has way more control than those lightweight longe lines that will flap away in the breeze. I need to find a clasp replacement for this one but with a good rope halter it’s a good training tool. I do think it’s short for the price. 25 feet isn’t nearly as long as it sounds. There are much better same length options for a very similar price range but they’re not offered by chewy. Id still take this one over a skinny fabric longe line any day.

Soft & Sturdy

The 15' length is perfect for groundwork and the colours won't show that it gets drug on the ground as much as a typical white cotton ropoe.

I had ordered the 15 foot lead rope . Said out of stock , than they send the 25 ft one . I did not order that and they charged me for that .

This item too longer to arrive than expected and when it did, the exterior box was fine. the bag containing this lead rope was damaged (looks like it was laying against something HOT, the plastic was melted and the rope was also across 4 lengths of the rope. Disappointing that someone would actually pack it to ship.

I purchased this lead rope for my first horse and I LOVE the clasp! It is so much easier to use than the traditional clasps that you have to push the small leaver

I purchased this lead rope for my first horse and I LOVE the clasp! It is so much easier to use than the traditional clasps that you have to push the small leaver for the metal to retract into a tube. Instead you can easily (even in gloves) open this clasp! When I got it I told myself it is the only type of clasp I will ever use for my horses! So glad to see they have released more colors!
