My horse was not wild about the taste of this mixed in with his senior feed, so I needed to go out and purchase Alfa-mo to mix it up with. I asked my vet and he said it was fine to give him, but the glucosamine was way too low. I need to add an additional 7500 mg of glucosamine to this product. I haven’t seen results yet, but I’m going to give it another month at least before I give up on it.

Good Stuff

My mare was showing signs of age related arthritis and my vet recommended this. It has everything a joint supplement should have in it and it is working well.

My mare was showing signs of age related arthritis and my vet recommended this. It has everything a joint supplement should have in it and it is working well. She is moving comfortably with more fluidity in her legs. I'm very pleased with the results. I sprinkle it on her morning feed and she licks her pan clean. I looked around and Chewy had the best price!

I got this specifically because it contained hyaluronic acid. My farrier recommended I put my gelding with ringbone on HA. The supplement he recommended was very expensive. I thought this one was reasonably priced. Plus, it contains glucosamine and chondroitin as well. The scoop is very small and mixes into grain easily. Both of my geldings eat it with no problems. I absolutely LOVE how this stuff smells! It's like vanilla cupcakes!

It is working!

Both my horse and I love this product so much. The portions are incredibly small, it melts away into nothing in his mash, and the ingredients are compliant with AERC standards with no banned substances. That in and of itself is a feat for a good joint supplement! My mile pounding gelding moves and feels so much better on this and came out of winter looking great.

Recently added a TB mare to my small group that had 44 starts on the track, so I know she's got some wear and tear on her joints. I trust KPP products, and I love the comprehensive ingredients in Joint Armor. The supplement smells pleasant, and she gobbles it up with the rest of her feed. I feel better knowing that this will help keep her comfortable and hopefully prevent further damage to her joints.

I was so excited to finally find a joint supplement with so many therapeutic levels of its ingredients. My horse ate it for about a week and a half and now won’t touch his grain at all! Even with carrot purée or molasses. He HATES it and he’s not a picky eater at all!
