Jackson loves his new home! He's a stray who adopted us. I have to keep him outdoors because of our other cats in the house, but he's doing very well. He sleeps in it every night, but doesn't like both flap doors on his home. And he hasn't yet learned how to push through the one flap door that was left on the house. Jackson is here to stay! He greets me every morning by coming out of his Birchwood Manor, stretching and asking for breakfast. Very easy to assemble, too.
Nice cat shelter

The house is sturdy. I put thick plastic on the roof, to help keep moisture out. It sits under a partial overhang of the roof. Rain hits one side of the house, but doesn't get inside. Snow can blow in the front and back openings if you don't install the plastic flaps. It was supposed to come with two plastic flaps, but mine only had one.

Very easy to put together, even though they say to glue the roof together. I would just screw together that way it would be easier to remove later. I have a small cat and it is too small so I should have got one bigger.
Well Constructed and Sturdy Cat House

This is great for my force porch and is well built. My cat goes out early and it’s still cold, so this house is perfect and she loves it and stays warm inside when she doesn’t want to come in the house. Only thought it would be larger, but it’s ok. My 12 pound Maine Coon can get in it and she feels secure. I would have like the opening to be a bit larger for her. But, really nice.
Sturdy little structure

I bought this for an outdoor cat and it is parked under our covered front porch. This is year 4 of use and it is still going strong. In winter I lined the interior with an old sheepskin rug I cut up to fit the entire inside. It worked well in 20 degree weather and kitty was found yawning inside. I highly recommend it and will buy it again in the future. Also, sheepskin is a natural product so kitty dove into the house and needed no introduction to it's use.

This was a great purchase. Went together very easy. We use it to house an outside pet fence system. We needed a bigger area and this is an excellent house for the extra base. Would work well for outside cats, but We have a house for them in our garage.
glad I bought it

The house is attractive but I have not seen the kitty inside it.
feral cat house

I lined the interior of the cat house with Reflectix insulation using double sided tape before assembling the entire house. The house was very easy to assemble. The pad for the bottom of the house is well made and sturdy. This house has been placed in an abandoned water treatment area for feral cats. I think two cats could fit inside.
small easy to assemble birchwood cat house

cathouse suitable for one occupant, relatively inexpensive, sturdy, I primed, painted and insulated (floor and walls) mine prior to use, I also added 2 inch high wood blocks (underneath) to keep it up off of the ground, instructions recommend some sort of covering over the cat house like a carport, only warranted for two years so the better prep job you do prior to use the longer this product should last, comes with a nice pad, overall pleased...
