This seat provides great support for my little guy. He sits up higher and can see out the windows. He is able to be secured to the seat and the seat secured in the car so he stays safe. I like that it’s washable. It’s a bit of a struggle to assemble but, once together, it is sturdy and provides him a cozy spot to rest while traveling. He’s about 11lbs and has plenty of room. My mom has the same bed for her 6lb Yorkie and when both of our pups are together, both can fit in one seat, albeit snuggled close together but there is enough room for both and two seatbelts so both can be secured. Very happy with my purchase.

I own now four of these boosters; one of the older style, which was made from a single piece of styrofoam and three more like this - "broken down". The broken down style (three separate pieces of styrofoam) is somewhat maddening to re-assemble after washing the cover. The new covers, are much better quality, with less damage happening in the wash. I like these seats as there are no straps that hang from your headrests in the car. The dogs seem happy in the seats. We even use them in the house between car rides. I do wish K&H would sell replacement covers. They don't. They claim they don't even have stock of them in the U.S. In fact, I bought this last car seat ONLY TO GET A NEW COVER. (Anyone need the foam parts because I will never use them?!) Seems like not a ton of support for customers. That said, I looked at all the other car seats on offer and ended up back here again.

This is the 2nd seat we purchased. The first one we purchased years ago and is still holding up. We now have another dog so we needed an extra seat for our annual drive from Michigan to South Carolina. The chair fit my 15lb dog good and is comfy and padded. He likes to rest his head on it too since the sides are low enough. The padding can be removed and cleaned which is nice. It has the 2 separate buckles to fit 2 dogs which is helpful for us.

Quality went down significantly

I purchased this brand in 2022 when I first got my dogs. The seat was molded properly and all you had to do was put the cover on it. Now it comes in three parts

I purchased this brand in 2022 when I first got my dogs. The seat was molded properly and all you had to do was put the cover on it. Now it comes in three parts and you have to assemble it,. The pieces do not stay in place and are not formed properly. So I just transferred the new cover to the old seat mold and it worked well. But it wasn’t worth paying $90 each and not having a new mold. If I could purchase a new cover, only I would! But I would not recommend this product.

Not sure why K&H changed from a single piece of styrofoam to having a separate back piece but it’s a pain to put it together. And I have dogs that have occasional accidents in their car seats so I have to remove the cover fairly frequently for laundering.

Does not provide security on sides and back

Assumed the booster seat would be sturdier on the back and sides.. My puppities mash the sides down easily while playing king of the hill. More of a booster

This seat is FANTASTIC!

I bought this for my new corgi puppy upon realizing that he DESPISES riding in a crate and is more than willing to make it everybody's problem. He wanted to ride in my lap while I drove, which wasn't safe for either of us - so I started shopping for dog seats and decided on this model. Y'all, he LOVES it! He hops right in and waits for me to clip the tether to his harness. He has plenty of room to sit up and look out the window, play with whichever favorite toy he brings with him, or to nap in any position he wants. I also like that it will still fit him when he reaches his adult size! It also installs securely and quickly with the seat belt, which makes me feel a lot safer when he's riding around with me. Highly recommend!
