Are you supposed to replace the water that is in the inner core? Or does it stay in there once you pour it in?

The water that is added to the inner core isn't required to be removed.

I prefer my dog to drink out of a stainless steel bowl, if I place a stainless steel bowl in this bowl will it still keep the water cold?

If you were to place a stainless steel bowl within this coolin' dish, and you followed the cooling instructions, than the water inside the stainless steel dish would cool down.

How much water are you supposed to add to the bowl to activate the crystals inside?

Simply fill the inner core with water using the plug on the underside, this will activate the Coolin’ Gel Crystals. Give it a good shake to distribute evenly and place the bowl in the freezer overnight.

Are the crystal safe if the dog found a way to invets them?

I don’t know why anybody would give this ball a negative review, I freeze it every night and I put freshwater in it daily, and it literally stays cold all day. I

I don’t know why anybody would give this ball a negative review, I freeze it every night and I put freshwater in it daily, and it literally stays cold all day. I put it down at 8 AM and at 5:30 PM. I took the temperature just to show you how cold it stays, I also Add ice now, and when I go to bed and put it in the freezer at 8:30 at night, there is still ice in the bowl, this is an inside bowl by the way my dogs are inside dogs
