Product not suitable to our location
We purchased 3 cooling pads for our dogs. We were so excited to have this for our fur babies that it wasn’t until after we had one package opened, filled and ready to go did we realize that the pads were not recommended for temperatures above 95 degrees. Here on the Arizona desert in summer the temperatures exceed 110 degrees frequently as they have for the past 18 straight days this July. The product is wonderful but not useable by our fur babies in this particular environment.
Work GREAT!
I had one big one last year and after half!laying on it myself, 9t kept me at least 10-15 degrees cooler. My apartment wasntinsulated properly and it's a brick building. In the summer of goes up to past 110 degrees in my apartment. WAY too hot. The fan just blows the hot air around. SO unsafe for my beloved special needs cats (or any animal). This time I bought smaller, size-appropriate cooling mats for each of my beloved cats and I'll keep the big one for me to lay against. So glad we're prepared this year! I cannot recommend these enough.

Perfect Cooling Mat
I have purchased these cooler mats in the past and have always like them. But this time was different. We arrived in sunny, warm Florida at an Air BnB and I realized I forgot our cooling mat at home, freezing Wisconsin winter. Chewy to the rescue! I emailed and asked if they would deliver to an Air bnb and the asnwer was yes. Within 2 days, I had the perfect cooling mat, 1200 miles from home! Thank you Chewy for your quick reply and awesome customer service!! Our golden was extremely happy too.
A Husky OBSESSION
Like other northern breeds, my Siberian Husky prefers relaxing in cool spots. I first bought this product 5 years ago so this mats durability is unmatched! I even have dragged it on my cement porch so he could sit with me and the mat was not even scratched. EASY TO CLEAN. Only reason I am buying another mat is so he has another for when we travel! The water cap has never leaked which is something I check for almost daily. Because this mat just uses water, I feel comfortable letting my pup use it. The Pup Review: will come in after a brief walk in the North Carolina summer heat, sprints to the mat, then does zoomies in circles on the mat before laying down. Arthritis makes it uncomfortable to lay straight onto tiled and wood floors, so this mat provides cooling comfort! Suggested water amount: I put in just enough water in the mat so that the interior sponge is completely soaked and then add maybe 2 cups more of water. That way he gets the full cooling effects but it is as squishy as a water bed.
