I purchased this product at a “closeout” retailer for much less than this website charges. I would not have paid $82 for this. Assembly was a bit cumbersome but I was able to put it together in less than 10 minutes. The cover is easy to put on and take off for washing. I had intentions of getting stairs for my senior kitty. She’s about 15 and has been struggling to jump on the bed. I gave up kicking the kitties off the bed years ago. I hope she can figure out the stairs.
Not a good purchase

The stairs are cardboard and my dog didn’t trust them because they sagged when he tried to step in them. We used treats, praise, etc to get him to climb on them. When he finally did the top stair bent and the Velcro came loose. He weighs 9 lbs. He doesn’t go near the stairs now. We had to throw them away.

Cover is impossible
To get the coverage of the stairs is impossible to fit on the stairs. I am very disappointed.

Too Complicated to assemble
It was not clear that these steps needed to be assembled. It was too complicated and the steps would be too flimsy once done. Donating them to a thrift store. Very

As other reviews said, this is difficult to assemble. It's one large pre-cut piece of corrugated plastic (like plasticised cardboard), with heavy duty velcro pre-glued to it. You have to fold it in all the right places and get the velcro attached correctly which is awkward to get done. Once the stairs were set up, our 8-lb senior cat took to using them immediately. All was well for a month, then yesterday when she was walking up them, gently as always, the top step collapsed under her foot. Luckily the cover held it all together enough that it didn't fall apart completely. Turns out the velcro had stayed hooked, but the velcro had come unglued from the plastic in five different places, so the velcro wasn't doing anything, and the cover was really all that was holding the whole thing together. We keep it cool in here, so the glue didn't fail because of heat. We put the steps back together using staples this time, so we'll see if that lasts.
Not recommended - beware
Very disappointed in product. Flimsy cardboard and steps are so narrow and spaced too close so there is no advantage for pet. Chewy graciously offered refund. Difficult

Came as build on own. It is made of flimsy cardboard and Velcro. That is it. Zero support. Not even something to support the middle of the steps. It is the equivilant of putting out a box that’s been folded a few times. It came stained. I can’t imagine this would hold the weight of 5lbs, let alone the 14 that is my dog. Absolute waste of money. I’m shocked this product was available to even purchase on this site
terrible product
Cheap materials, difficult to put together, basically just cardboard with cloth stretched over it. I expect more from chewy products.
