It worked at first
I really wanted to love this bed, my cats love the window and I thought they'd enjoy this but the screw suction cups wouldn't hold onto the window at first. Then they did after I did alot of research and constant cleaning of both surfaces, this was mid-February. Now in the last two weeks of May they won't stick no matter what I try, but the traditional suction cup that supports the base is going strong. So strong I couldn't get it off! So I left it and now it's a favorite of my smaller cats (all are 9 pounds or less). The window ledge supports the bulk of the cats' weight and the cup holds it on at an angle. I should have listened to the other reviews and skipped this item. Since it still gets used I gave it 3 stars, but I wouldn't pay for it again. I hope the pictures help with my description of how it is barely still attached to the window.
Good size for one cat
I got a couple of these beds when I adopted my first two kittens and they still love them. They've held up well over the years, but I've replaced most of them with different, larger, beds that they both fit more comfortably in at once. The cats manage to wedge two of them in the bed together, but whoever is on the bottom will usually extract themselves and find a better spot. The only issues I've had are the suction cups coming loose a couple times, usually due to the temperature warming up through spring into summer, and one ripping where the spike holds it on the bed. K&H actually replaced that one for me since it was under a year old. Just follow the instructions and make sure your window is nice and clean before you attach them and they'll be fine. I recommend these beds, but maybe not if you have multiple cats or a very large cat.
Moved right in
A bit of a plastic-ally smell. I left them outside in the sunshine for a day before installing (easy) and the cats moved right in.
Suction cups don’t stick
I bought three of these and no matter what I did, the suction cups won’t stick to the window! Frustrating!!! Too late to return them. Unusable for my kitties.
the new throne
My cats have fought over this since we bought it. My girl Salem is a small psycho but she loves it the most. So far the suction cups seem to be holding up well!
Can't get it to stick to window
When I first got the product it worked well. Now I have tried maybe 20 times and cannot get it to stick. The process is time consuming and doesn't work. I have tried washing, warm water, Windex, rubbing alcohol, but no dice. We have two new cats who have tried to use this but it immediately falls off. I am giving up and trying a different product.
I love my bed
My name is Willow and my mom got me this snoozy spot :) I love sleeping here every day and night It is here that i survey the land below me all day I have also figured out if I put the pillow against the window, it keeps me warm and cozy during snowy times Highly recommend to all my cat friends
Great for our Cats
Our cats definitely love them and use them every day. They adhere to the windows excellently.
Works but won't use
I was excited for this window perch because my cats love the drop down kind. I wanted to see their little furry tum fluffs squished against the window. However they won't go anywhere near this perch. They won't even go in the other perch I have if this one is on the window next to it. I'm very disappointed, but I will say, it suctions very well to the window. It's also easy to install.
Sturdy and comfy
Our cats just love this window bed. It's a great way for them to get a "bird's eye view" of the outdoors, and it's nice to have a place for them to hang without taking up floor space. Bed is very sturdy and suction cups do a great job holding it in place. Best way to get them to stick is to clean window/door with alcohol first and allow to dry before attaching bed. Occasionally a cup may come loose (if you have a heavy cat like mine who jumps in and out of it), but just clean the glass again with alcohol and reattach. Cats may take some time getting used to it and wanting to use it.
