I recently moved from a 2 bedroom apartment to a 1 bedroom. And unfortunately my current landlord doesn't allow us to drill holes in the wall. It was super important for me to allow my 2 cats room to climb and hide, without drilling holes or taking up floor space. This is the perfect solution! Installation was very easy by myself and the product feels sturdy. Now to see if my cats will like it.

This is a great option for your kitties to get up off the ground even if you don't have enough floor space for a cat tree. My cat is still getting used to it and doesn't sleep in it but she loves to run and jump for toys that are thrown in. Just be aware that if you have a skinny door it might close weird once thing hanging condo is added.
My younger cat loves it

My younger cat loves it. My older cat does not care for it much but to sleep under it. It went up easily and I’m looking at getting a different model the company is coming out with next month. It’s very convenient for apartment dwellers.

Well it said maximum weight 50 pounds so I thought my four kittens that are approximately a year old and we may be 8 to 10 pounds would be fine, only the runt of the litter could fit through the holes. I feel like I wasted 90 bucks on some thing that’s hanging on my door.

I was looking to give my cat a getaway from the new puppies. She loves it!! She is currently sound asleep and it has only been hanging for 5 min!! Great quality and a great price!!
Perfect for cats who like to hide up high. Be aware of where you'll put it.

Both of my cats like this hanging condo, but they're not as crazy about it as I was hoping they would be. Probably best for cats who are more shy or greatly enjoy hiding. I placed mine on a closet door at the bottom of our stairway. It's a heavy-traffic spot that affords a view of our living room. When we have company over, they like to sit in the cubbies and observe us from what I imagine feels like to them a safe distance. My more adventurous boy Hank has climbed to the top and lounged there happily. My little girl Cooper prefers to feel concealed in the lower levels.
The structure of the condo is good. I was afraid it wouldn't be sturdy, but it's no problem. The structure of the condo is good. I was afraid it wouldn't be sturdy, but it's no problem. My cats are not large though (6 pounds and 12 pounds). The metal door hangers for this come with optional stick-on buffers that protect your door from scuffing. The straps are easy to pull taut. Setting this up is very easy. If you've ever used a bike rack attachment on your car, this is similar. The material is tough nylon everywhere except for the roof, which is soft, thin faux fur. I imagine the faux fur might be the only part of this that could be tricky to clean. It is not padded at all and feels sort of thin, so if you're concerned about that you may want to line the levels with something soft for them to lay on.
A few things that bother me about this product, though none of them are deal-breakers, is that the middle cubby has a look-out hole on the left side, but for my purposes, this hole faces the wall and is therefore wasted. I know there isn't much to be done about that, but I do wish it could be reoriented somehow. Something else about this condo is that it rocks the door a bit as the kitties jump in and out. It is unavoidable and doesn't hurt the door at all, so it isn't inherently a problem other than it has tricked me into thinking that I heard someone trying to open a door a few times in the night, and it spooked me.
Otherwise this condo is a really awesome way to offer your cat a little more climbing space without sacrificing any floor space. Be mindful of where you want to set yours up before you purchase and be sure that you're choosing a door that opens outward rather than inward. Be aware too of the width of your door. This condo is only 16 wide so it should be alright in most situations. I chose this one after I had been looking at another K&H door condo that was 22 wide - my doors are too skinny for that.… more

Both cats jumped in as soon as it was up. They chase each other up and down the levels. Took < 5 minutes to install. Great for a smaller apartment as it takes up much less space than a traditional cat condo.
