I run a cat kennel, I have the fleece mats but they are not holding up since I wash them so often will these hold up better?

What are the dimensions of the base part of the pad, meaning, the flat part not including the sides that fold up?

The base for the 14 x 22 measures 7.25 inches long x 14 inches wide, the 20 x 25 base measures 13 inches long x 17 inches wide, the 21 x 31 base measures 12.5 inches long x 20.5 inches wide, the 25 x 37 base measures 15 inches long x 24 inches wide, the 32 x 48 base measures 21 inches long x 36 inches wide, and the 37 x 54 base measures 24.5 inches long x 40 inches wide.
Can I put this under the top cover of my dogs regular bed and still self warm? Wish I could find a dog heated blanket that they could lay on...was going to put a human one on top of the bed, then read thats a no-no.

This product cannot be covered with blankets or materials other than K&H pad covers. Other coverings may not allow heat to radiate properly and could cause pad failure.

No Warmth Provided

I would not call this item "self warming." The image shows a layer of foil, similar to that of an emergency blanket, which isnmeant to reflect heat. However, when the package arrived, it states clearly on the packing that the item is just filled with poly-fill. There is no reflective, insulating layer, like shown in the picture. Second, if there is padding inside, you couldn't tell. It provides no comfort, just as it provides no extra warmth. One would be better off tossing a fuzzy blanket into a pet's bed for extra warmth, than using this "self-warming" crate mat.

A Great Buy!

This pen was easy to set up and it has plenty of room for our dog Ginger. She is tiny and goes there independently to eat and drink. We are happy we purchased this item as it comes in handy when we go out. We had an issue with the delivery aspect but that was not Chewy's fault.

Dog crate bed

It seems to be a good product for my outside stray cat. He seems very happy.
