These bowls are intended to be heated and there isn't an option to remove the heat from bowl at a time.

If I use this indoors, will the water be 'warm'. I'm looking for a way to have drinking water not be floor cold but slightly warm. will this work?

Thermostats inside the Thero-Kitty Café automatically respond to changes in temperature to keep the unit running optimally. When temperatures are sufficiently cold, the Thero-Kitty Café will begin to warm after being connected to a power outlet.

Only bottom of dish gets luke warm.

I bought this for two feral cats that come to eat on my covered front porch. I live in NY just north of NYC. It’s been a cold winter and I wanted something to keep

I bought this for two feral cats that come to eat on my covered front porch. I live in NY just north of NYC. It’s been a cold winter and I wanted something to keep wet and dry food warm. I have returned this item because any food not in direct contact with the bottom of the metal bowl gets cold. Perhaps I got a defective bowl, I don’t know.

Caring for Outside Pets

I just purchased my 3rd Thermo Kitty Cafe for my 5 outside feral cats. I have used them for at least 3 years on my covered porch. They keep the dry and wet food

I just purchased my 3rd Thermo Kitty Cafe for my 5 outside feral cats. I have used them for at least 3 years on my covered porch. They keep the dry and wet food warm in winter and the dry food doesn't get sticky from humidity when it rains. I also have several K&H heated houses that I set up there in the fall. Your products are weather proof, safe, reliable and easy to maintain. thanks!

able to use it outside in the winter

The water heats up so much that it gets hot and also it has burnt plastic smell maybe there’s something wrong with the one I have but somebody else complained about

Not as warm as I like

I wasnt happy with this. It has not not been tested in weather that would freeze the water but the water was cold when I tested it with my finger. I found a different

I wasnt happy with this. It has not not been tested in weather that would freeze the water but the water was cold when I tested it with my finger. I found a different one that keeps the water tepid which I am very happy with. When tested with my finger it was nice and warm. Not hot but its exactly what I was looking for. The company that makes it is NAMSAN. The good thing about THIS one is that you can take the dishes out to wash them and fill them. The other one you have to unplug and take the whole thing in. But in the cold weather I prefer the warmth for the outdoor kitties. I will use this for the dry food I leave them.

Bowls are too small for cats to eat out of.

My feral cats do not like this as the bowls are too small and deep. They cannot get to the food at bottom of bowl which ends up heating up food and drying out, crusting

So difficult to clean when this happens. I cannot use it for food which was the reason I purchased it. Only use for water now. Had to purchase a larger heated bowl for food. Would not recommend.

Great for cold weather kitties

I was apprehensive about spending the money on this but I am glad that I did. It keeps food and water just a bit warm. Our local feral cat has become more interested

I was apprehensive about spending the money on this but I am glad that I did. It keeps food and water just a bit warm. Our local feral cat has become more interested in eating the food that we put in here and tends not to stray too far from her dish. The temperature does cause the water to evaporate over time so be sure to freshen it up every day. It is warm enough to make wet food harden to the bottom of the dish but luckily it is very easy to take the bowls out to clean them.
