can you choose the temperature?

This will maintain a pond temperature of just above freezing and cannot be adjusted to higher temperatures.

Can I use this in a 100 gal fresh water fish tank?

This de-icer is designed for ponds up to 300 gallons and 18 inches or less in depth.

Great Price

I purchased for my Son. He lives rural and when it gets really hot he has turles always show up. They also come in winter. He has a pond the gallon size on box

I purchased for my Son. He lives rural and when it gets really hot he has turles always show up. They also come in winter. He has a pond the gallon size on box. I don't remember but it works perfectly. Even in 20 degrees outside..He loves this product. Made me happy he was so happy. Especially the turles. It was delivered just in time b4 the freeze. Quality.

Didn’t work at all. We gave it multiple tries and it never turned on, warmed up. Disappointing but not surprised. Thankfully got a refund.

The size and the fact it was submersible

When the temperature outside got way below freezing it was way to cold for it to work but as soon as the temp went up it worked great. Next week it's to be 8 degrees

I received this product quickly, the only problem is it does not work! I installed it, checked the pond no change. took it out plugged it in another outlet still

Pond deicer

I guess I'm not sure what this is supposed to do, because when we had temperatures in the teens, I had about 2 inches of ice on my pond right around this product

I guess I'm not sure what this is supposed to do, because when we had temperatures in the teens, I had about 2 inches of ice on my pond right around this product. I had one of these a couple of years ago and I thought it was broke so I threw it away and bought this one. It does not de-ice around the product. I think I need a pond "heater"!

I bought this right before our first freeze. My pond froze over and feel this is not a good product. Luckily my fish survived.

Lasted less then a month.

I was super excited to get this and so I got it a month earlier then I would have needed. So it sat in a box for about 5 or so weeks before I was ready to use it

I was super excited to get this and so I got it a month earlier then I would have needed. So it sat in a box for about 5 or so weeks before I was ready to use it on the pond. I got it all set up and left it plugged in. When I came back 4 hours nothing had changed. So I pulled it up towards me to check if it was producing any warmth. (Keeping it under water) it wasn't. So disgruntled I unplugged it and probably am going to toss it out. Maybe it was a dud, maybe these just don't work. I really don't know.
