Do not buy! It killed my chicks!

This plate worked fine for 1 batch of chicks. I set it up to use for my second batch and it was fine. 3 days in, I woke up to dead chicks. The brooder plate had stopped heating overnight! The light still turns on, but the plate is not even warm to the touch. It has a "2 year warranty" but only if you have the original receipt which I obviously don't have after 2 months of it working fine. Complete piece of junk and there is no way anyone can replace my dead chicks. Avoid this brand!
