Dog Bike Basket
We rescued a 3 year old Chihuahua and wanted to be able to take her with us when possible. I looked at a LOT of baskets. I finally decided on this one because it had a metal mount (a lot of the reviews of other baskets said the weight of the dogs - even the little ones - sagged the baskets), so no sagging and two clips to secure her to in the basket. And she LOVES it. She is 9 pounds and she can easily lay in it, but usually chooses to hang her arms out the sides. We've taken her on 15 mile bike rides and she never gets anxious to get out. The two pockets hold the essentials - water bottle and bowl, snack and leash. The basket mounts easily to the bike - both my husband and I have ridden with the basket and it easily fit onto both bikes. When we are at a rest stop, many people have asked us about the basket and about how she likes riding in it. We cannot say enough good things. It took me weeks to choose a basket, but this is the perfect one for a little dog.
Disappointed
The attachment to the front of the bicycle is not stable. I’m afraid to put my dog in it for fear it will come off. Or I might tip myself because it leans too far to the let or right when I turn because it’s loose. I was really looking forward to taking her out and I don’t think I will. Wasted my money.

Solid, efficient, and simple
This basket is just what I hoped for! The assembly is simple, and the basket slides off when my pup doesn’t come with me, or when I transport my bike. My Schnoodle puppy is getting used to riding in it. I walk around with her in the basket, so she will get used to it. I like simple and efficient ways to do what I love to do. This K & H basket will allow me to take my little pal on e bike adventures!
Perfect fit!
The large is the perfect fit for my 15.5 lb dog. He feels secure and loves riding in this basket. When he's not in it, I can carry a bag of groceries. I am so glad we found this product and it was easy to install too.
Dog Bike Basket
My husband and I just bought beach cruiser bikes and wanted to ride with both our dogs. I wanted something sturdy and secure that I felt comfortable they would both be safe in. After all my research and reading reviews on different ones I decided on this basket. It is very sturdy. I like both the clips to clip them in. They just lean back and enjoy the ride. Instructions are the best but it is fairly simply to get it set up on your bike. I would recommend this one. I like the mesh pocket on the side and zipper pocket on the other side.
My dog loves it
It does make it a little more difficult to guide your bike and takes some getting used to but my dog seems to love it!
don’t like it
Not able to properly secure lower part to my handlebar stem. Using plastic ties to try and secure it tightly to stem. As a result basket sways left and right too much for my comfort.

Best Bike Basket
I and my little dog love this basket! I struggled with a couple of others before I found this one, but this is really great. I have an active puppy so I love the double teather, it really keeps him in line , and safe.
