Beef shakers

Unfortunately our lab did not care for this flavor on his food. Refused to eat it. I will try a ckn flavor next if they make it.

Good ingredients bad packaging

TLDR: It's fine, ingredients are good, made in USA, packaging is sub-par, and doggo was neutral on it. Pros: - Made in USA - Very good ingredient list, ingredients

TLDR: It's fine, ingredients are good, made in USA, packaging is sub-par, and doggo was neutral on it. Pros: - Made in USA - Very good ingredient list, ingredients do have scientific data to support skin and coat - Shelf Stable Cons: - Packaging, difficult to open, difficult to dispense - According to doggo, flavor The Kismet shaker packaging is really doing a number on the review, normally I'm not so picky about the packaging, but the shaker was hard to get open and is hard to dispense. If you have a small dog, I'm sure you can easily shake out the .25-.5 tbsp recommended. My GSD is 85lbs which has a recommendation of 1.5 tbsp per day. This makes the small hole side of the shaker a no go and the opening on the large side is not big enough to get a tbsp measuring spoon into the can. In addition due to the consistency of the food topper (wet sand ish) it is hard to dump the food topper out of the hole as well ( I couldn't remover the push in tab thing). I love the ingredient list which includes cranberry and salmon oil which both have good data supporting their use for skin and coat. If my GSD liked/ was excited about the topper I'd give it 4 stars, but she tends to eat around the topper leaving it at the bottom of the bowl and then licking it clean. This is a behavior she does when her response is "yeah I'll eat it but I'm not in love with it" In conclusion, the food topper has good ingredients, is made in the USA, and should help with skin and coat but the packaging and doggo enthusiasm is lacking.

I really like the Kismet Shakers Skin & Coat Formula! Since adding it to my dog’s meals, I’ve noticed his coat looks shinier and he’s scratching a lot less, which is a huge win. He absolutely loves the flavor, and I feel good knowing it has wholesome ingredients like beef, sweet potato, and salmon oil. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the packaging. The lid isn’t the best, and it can be a little hard to get the food out. If the container was easier to use, this would be a perfect product.

Right after I opened the container, I accidentally dropped it on the floor in front of my fussiest borzois: 11 year old Odessa! She licked up everything that spilled on the floor and was immediately hooked, as were my other 3! So much so that, after I went to bed, "someone" put their paws on the counter and grabbed the container from the somewhat hidden place where I tucked it away for the night. The pieces of the container were all that I found in the morning! (See picture) These 4 are big on partying when Mom is upstairs sleeping. Guess they loved it. But the big purpose of Shakers is not to eat it as an hor d'ourves but to put it on your food to make it taste even better. Silly borzois!!

I have one picky eater that will get tired of supplements I try feeding him and he's licked his bowl clean everytime.

I've been using this as a topper on both of my GSDs kibble and it’s been a great addition. My dogs aren't super picky eaters, but the flavor really encourages them

I've been using this as a topper on both of my GSDs kibble and it’s been a great addition. My dogs aren't super picky eaters, but the flavor really encourages them to finish their meals. After a few weeks, I’ve noticed their coats are shinier and softer, and their skin seems less dry. I also love that it’s an easy sprinkle-on powder instead of something messy. The only drawback is that the shaker could be a bit bigger for the price, but overall it’s been worth it for the results I’ve seen.

Kismet Shakers are actually a dry food topping for dogs, specifically formulated to promote healthy skin and reduce itchiness in canines. My 8 year old German shepherd has extremely itchy skin. We have been using this product for a little over a week now and we are seeing positive results already. We just sprinkle 1 1/2 tablespoons over his food once a day. He actually loves the taste too!
