This collar unfortunately isn't any better for my cats' skin than the fabric ones, but it did solve another issue I was having. One of my cats was tightening his brother's collar by pulling on it. Since this has a buckle and is breakaway, it fixes that problem while also being safe, which a buckle alone won't allow.
Broke within a week
Got this as a replacement collar, and the clasp already broke. Pretty disappointed as this is the only collar our cat will tolerate.
