We found Cameron in 2016. He's no terrier or retreiver..I've had a few breeds. So we learned that he is a true mutt..and it explains some things. He's tolerant of animals and stoic. Won't chase or get on the furniture. At all. He's invited. He's a whole bunch of different guardian breeds. No terrier..or retriever. Makes sense now.

Still waiting

I sent both kits back together I have received the results for one and on the second dog it started by saying my results would be the 10th then they changed it to

I sent both kits back together I have received the results for one and on the second dog it started by saying my results would be the 10th then they changed it to the 23rd so I reached out to customer service and they said there was an error and it would be to me within a few days. Well now we are on the 21st I reached out to customer service again and was told I basically just had to wait it'll be to us anywhere from 3/23 to April something. Disappointing to say the least.

Not everyone has a printer to print out the shipping label for what these things cost. They should at least supply a return shipping label. I still haven’t got my sent out yet because I’m gonna have to find the UPS office that will scan the code and take care of all that, nine out of 10. I’ll end up having to pay return shipping myself on the upside the dog hasn’t tore up yet. (CA is six month old plot? It is like a hurricane blowing through, lab my tushy lol

It’s been almost 2 months. Test says results will be delivered within 4-6 weeks. Customer service just gives a generalized explanation about high volume delays. No compensation for the delay or even an apology. DO NOT buy any product from this company. You will never get your results or refunded. I repeat, do not support this awful company! If I could give it 0 stars I would.

The DNA results made sense however not so much the traits. We got our puppy at 10 weeks old and a Miniature Dachshund but as she became a few months older we had our doubts that she was purebred. The results showed she was 50% Dachshund and small percentages of a few other breeds and Beagle. Many people ask is she is a Beagle so that makes sense. So now we can not feel weird saying she is a mini Dachshund, now we just call her what she is, a Doxle / Dachshel or Begachshund. Over all we are satisfied. Will still prolly try to get a second test ran from a different company to certify the results just to see. We love our lil Smidge either way she is the best!

it’s a scam

I bought this for my daughters rescue dog on sale November 2023 and now April 2024 and still no results. We emailed them in Jan 2024 and they said our test was lost

I bought this for my daughters rescue dog on sale November 2023 and now April 2024 and still no results. We emailed them in Jan 2024 and they said our test was lost and sent us another test that we completed and sent back again. However, April 3, 2024 and still nothing. Unfortunately, I think we got scammed.

I sent my rescue dog's swabs off to Kokogenetics in November of 2023. As of today, March 12th, I still have no results. And, every inquiry of mine to date has been met with some excuse--the latest is a UPS problem. If I don't have any results by this Friday, I will be buying an alternative brand's kit; recommend that you save yourself some aggravation and do the same.

Questionable results

I ordered a Koko DNA test for my foster dog. After he was adopted, his new parents ran a Wisdom DNA kit on him too. The Koko results said the dog was 100% English

I ordered a Koko DNA test for my foster dog. After he was adopted, his new parents ran a Wisdom DNA kit on him too. The Koko results said the dog was 100% English Shepherd - highly doubtful, given the breed characteristics. The Wisdom DNA results showed 19% English Shepherd, 15% American Pit Bull Terrier, 9% Border Collie, 7% Rough Collie, 5% Bluetick Coonhound. Much more realistic.
