For the most part I don’t have dogs that need grooming, however lately I have been needing to trim the hair on the bottom of my little old chihuahua’s feet. He’s 15 and trimming his furry paws helps him not slip when walking on smooth surfaces. I’ve used scissors but I’ve been nervous I’ll accidentally cut his pad. I didn't get great photos of him but these clippers worked great! I feel so much better trimming with the clippers. He doesn’t like noisy things and I was worried he’d be fearful of the clippers but he wasn’t at all! They are pretty quiet. I love Kong dog toys and have for many years, we probably have 8-10 of them here now. The clippers are what you’d expect from Kong, good quality. Well made with lots of attachments and comes in a nice case with a handle. Very happy with this set!
Great for super short cut.
This is a great dog clipper if you are wanting a short cut all over. It glides through the hair easily and took me less than 30 minutes to cut my 65lb springer spaniels
This is a great dog clipper if you are wanting a short cut all over. It glides through the hair easily and took me less than 30 minutes to cut my 65lb springer spaniels hair. However when I attached the combs to the clipper to get different lengths like on his ears, they were very difficult. The hair would simply pass under the clipper and not actually go up into the it and cut. I ended up using a scissors on any part I didn’t want super short. Will definitely be using this clipper on my 2 dogs as all I need if for is super short all over cuts but would not recommend to someone wanting a more elaborate hairstyle on their pup. Also love the 3 speeds on this model as I can turn it down for areas around the face and legs so my dog isn’t frightened by the noise.

I’m very impressed with these kong clippers and love the fact that they have a light on them to see what you’re doing through the clipping process. The only reason I give them a 4 rating instead of a 5 is because they’d be better if they were cordless. However, the longer cord does still make them more convenient that some competitor products. I also really like that it has multiple speed settings on it, a hook for hanging them up if you want them out of the way, and a storage bag for easy storage or transport. Overall an excellent product!

I am only giving it 4 stars because it was a little tricky to figure out how to turn on at first. I am sure someone more experienced would have no problem but I am not a dog groomer.
