This item is smaller than I expected. Slightly bigger than a wallnut shell. I know this item says it is for light to moderate chewers but my small dog had the outer

This item is smaller than I expected. Slightly bigger than a wallnut shell. I know this item says it is for light to moderate chewers but my small dog had the outer plastic torn up and was trying to eat it in less than 5 mins. If it's meant to help with a dogs gums you'd think it could stand up to more than that.
